Facebook event to help a family

I help admin a crafting group on Facebook. A mom in the group has a young son - just 3 years old - that had an emergency surgery in November to remove a brain tumor that grew fast. He was acting normal one day, projectile vomiting and mismatched pupils the next day. The type of tumor was sure to return and it did. The type of chemo they recommended would kill the boy. A second surgery was deemed too risky when another scan showed it had returned just a few months later. His mom was a stay at home mom. Dad has taken time off from work. Despite insurance and everything else, there are still mounting bills. Our group decided to hold a Facebook event this weekend where we are selling some of our handmade items with the proceeds being donated to this family.
