I am finally scrapbooking today. Trying to print some pics - edited in photoshop. I go to print and the prints are dark, colors are flat. Never had this problem with my HP printer. I have tried to calibrate my laptop monitor but I am not sure if I am doing it correctly. In the past - with the HP - I edited in PS, printed and the images matched my edited image on the screen. Any ideas?

Somewhere in the settings for the printer, tell it to not manage the printer colors. I let photoshop do it and it comes out perfect. I have the pro 100.

Be sure to change the settings for the printer -
Under Commonly Used - choose Photo Printing Under Media Type - choose Photo Paper Under Quality - choose High.
I hope that helps - good luck Attachments:settings.docx (170.63 KB)

I had to call Canon and have them walk me through getting that printer set up. I was ready to throw it through a window. Their customer service was great and walked me through everything step by step. Works great now.

If you were my sister, I would ask if you have the photo paper in upside down... every time. Every time....

I hope that helps - good luck Great tip. Checking the type of printing, type of paper, and quality is always good to do. I also sometimes, use a regular paper, quickly scribble on one side and print a quick "test" from notepad. This tells me which side the paper should be.
