Tonight I tried this lemon blueberry pound cake that I pinned awhile back. It was very good. I also made a lemon glaze (one lb powdered sugar plus the juice of three large Meyer lemons) and drizzled it over individual slices. That makes it easier to wrap and store the leftover cake, and it tasted great that way. BUT the blueberries all sank to the bottom. I haven't done much baking since my kids were small, and I'm trying to remember what you're supposed to do to prevent that happening ... is it toss the berries with a little flour? They were nice and dry, so I don't think it would have stuck. Any advice or other thoughts? Up to and including, "Just let the damn blueberries sink."

Reserve about 1/4 to 1/2 cup of the dry ingredients and toss with the blueberries to coat, then stir them in gently.

Tossing them in flour should help with the sinking!

Tossing them in a little flour has always worked for me.

Interesting. I didn't know this-I bake, but don't like blueberries so I haven't ever baked with them. My mom does all the time and it never occurred to me that there was a trick to keep blueberries floating. (tucking this little tidbit of information away just in case)

Added tip - The tossing in a bit of flour that was mentioned above also works well for nuts. Think walnuts in banana bread, etc.

Yup, you have to toss them in the dry ingredients and slowly fold into the batter.
