Good morning ladies!! Today is the last day of school - FINALLY!! And that means today is the last day I'll have an elementary school aged kid!! Did pretty well with eating yesterday and got my exercise in. Today, probably no exercise since we have a really busy day. But I'll be back at it tomorrow. Off to do my girls' hair and get ready for the graduation celebration this morning! Have a great day ladies!!

brandy327, Congratulations mom and dad on getting thru elementary school! No really, I know from the other side how very significant it is to have caring and involved parents standing behind their kids. I hope you have a great day of celebration and can welcome summer soon. I listened to my recovering body and found that walking was a bit too much yesterday. I'm going to take an easier stroll this morning before it gets too warm. I nibbled a little too much last night while preparing dinner and felt yucky last night, so I'll focus on just simple clean foods today. I'm also going to clean out some dresser drawers today. There's nothing like trying on some snug fitting shorts to keep you motivated.

Today is fit test day for the BBM challenge. I haven't done the workout yet but did take my weight and measurements. I am back to 150 even. I have been bouncing around between 151-154 since gaining at the tournament about a month ago, so I am hoping that I am on a downward trend here now. I was down 1/2 inch on my calves, rib cage and thighs.
I have to drop kids off at school in a bit and will do my workout when I get home--one has basketball camp and the other has strength and conditioning.

brandy327, you sound like me--no exercise today. Super busy. But I took the dogs to daycamp so I am working in the peace and quiet today. Sometimes I love an empty house. DD#2 is coming home unexepectedly this afternoon for 5 days. We are SO excited. So, the kids want tator tot casserole for dinner. I will make that for them but have something healthy for me though I LOVE tator tot casserole. YUM! Enjoy the day everyone!

I usually go to these kickboxing classes that I love several days a week. Well this week they are doing them outside. Why ruin a perfectly good workout by doing it outside?!?! I hate the outside, I definitely don't want to exercise out there. So I am a little bummed that I don't get to go to them this week. Instead, I decided I would do Insanity all week. I have a love/hate relationship with Insanity. I feel so accomplished when I am done but I sure cuss up a storm at the tv while doing them! I started last night and I am really feeling it today. b- eggs with spinach and mushrooms l- salad with almonds, dried cranberries and feta, cottage cheese and a plum s- either a banana or some brown rice crackers because that is all I have at my desk d- I think we will do some grilled shrimp and veggies. NSV- I need belts for all my work pants now and I went to put one particular belt on the other day and even the last hole was too big. I will need to go pant shopping here soon. I officially made my goal although I want to lose about 10 more now so I didn't want to go until then. I am trying to make it through summer with skirts and dresses and then new pants for fall!

Just jumping in....I have been slowly losing weight just by diet. Wanting to do some exercise so I started walking and doing the elliptical. I received the PIYO DVDs....only on day 3....anyone else do these?

Morning ladies! Checking in to say that I finished my triathlon on Sunday! As I posted on FB: "It wasn't pretty and it certainly wasn't speedy, but my finisher medal is just as shiny as everyone else's." We somehow got a break from the heat and the temps were in the low 70s for the entire race. I had several members of my family there to cheer me on during the race and they even made signs. I also got lots of cheers from my training partners. We really stood out from the crowd in our matching tri kits. We all waited at the finish for every single member of our group to cross the finish line. I cried - a lot. All the feels! If there was a prize for team spirit, we would have won it. My run was the strongest part of the race, and I joked that I was meant to be on land. Of course, my friends aren't going to let me get off that easily. We have more swims planned for the rest of the summer.
I ran a 5K the day before with someone who was running in their first race. We did run/walk intervals and had a strong finish. I am so happy I was there to provide encouragement; it was also the one-year anniversary of my first 5K race so it meant a lot to me.
This week is hot and has thunderstorms predicted each day. I took yesterday off to rest and will play it by ear for the rest of the week as to what I do and when. Not just run, but also swim and/or bike.

STBC I am so freaking proud of you! You did it! brandy327 Enjoy your day. I know how much your kiddos mean to you. Patter I know your heart has to be so giddy happy right now in anticipation of your dd returning home. @iamkristin|16 WTG on your measurements! That is huge. kellybelly77 Do you have one of those eyelet paper punches that you use a hammer to make the hole? That is how I add holes to my belts. Looks really nice and clean when punched that way. I still need to do my workout today. I walked laps while ds had basketball camp while reading on my kindle. DS is not feeling well. He is going with dh on a business trip early Thursday morning through Saturday. Dh used some travel rewards to take ds and his dad with him. They are going to catch a Houston - Reds baseball game while there. I am thinking he had a sinus infection, so we are going to the doc at 4:00. I don't want him to feel bad on his trip. Other than that I am just putting around the house today. We are supposed to have storms, so I might get a good sit on the porch in with my book.

STBC heck yes!!!! Congrats! Working the next three days at a math academy. Interesting but a lot of sitting. Not feeling 100% but I got my squat session in. Resting tomorrow or Thursday--going to see how I feel. Happy Promotion Day brandy327! Hope everything went well.

I am exhausted. Graduation went very well and the day was amazing! But now I'm fully focused on the soccer banquet on Friday. My BFF and I are heading out tomorrow to get all the food. Thurs is baking 400 cooking and prepping some of the other food. I can do it...I can do it...I can do it. Today's eating was shit. I had a good breakfast, 2 sugar cookies for lunch and a pasta dish for dinner that was in no way healthy (but I did only eat about 1/4 of it and picked all the broccoli and about half of the chicken out of it). But I shared dessert with dh and the kiddos. I could've done worse but I could've done SO much better. But I'm moving on. Tomorrow will be a good food day - it's salad for dinner. And I'll be busy running around so no time for snacking. LOL I'll be pretty scarce the rest of the week but I'll try to get here to start the threads each morning!!

Drag curls on Smith machine Dumbbell curls Straight bar cable curls
30 minutes of cardio
