Good morning ladies!! Happy Weekend!!! We survived the soccer banquet and it was a huge success! My dh and I and my BFF's mom pretty much ran all of the kitchen/food stuff. Everything turned out perfectly AND we had it all done on time! And I am SO glad it's over!!! Now I can get focused on workouts and 100% eating healthy again. That starts with me making out my menu and grocery list this morning and getting to the store. I hope you all have a nice, relaxing weekend!!

I made it through my leg workout yesterday, including the 5 minutes of walking lunges, I was dripping sweat and wobbling when I finished. This morning is any easy day with back and shoulders-thank goodness!
brandy327- Glad the banquet was a success!

Good Morning! Glad the banquet was successful brandy327. I'm sure you get some relaxation time this weekend. I'm getting ready to go for a run. I'm going to try to do 4 miles today. That would be my longest run so wish me luck. Tonight it our agency dinner. It's Italian themed...not even going to try to say I won't eat everything! I'm most excited for the bruschetta bar. Hope everyone has a great Saturday.

brandy327, so glad to hear that your banquet was a success. I'm not too surprised because you've shared all the planning and baking you did before hand! I feel pretty strong today. I was up early and got in a gentle walk and did some weeding in the garden. I weighed in and yet again, no change up or down. Considering I've not been able to exercise much in the last 10 days, I'm ok with that. I'm only 6 pounds away from my goal weight and when you get this close, the pounds are pretty stubborn to come off. I'm hardly trying to get to a skinny weight; I just want to fit comfortably into my clothes and 5-6 pounds should do it.

brandy327 YAY! So glad the banquet is over and was a success! I'm also glad for you that it's over! Just got back from the first swim meet of the season. It was an at home meet so I was the card runner and let me tell you, I RAN! Ha! I got 9262 steps just from walking to the pool, running the cards all meet long, and walking home. Wowza! Thankfully it wasn't crazy hot and humid. It was actually a very nice temperature for the meet. After I recover from the meet, I'm going to do some cleaning. My house looks like a tornado ripped through it, so it's going to need quite the clean up. I'll also probably head to the store to pick up a couple last-minute Father's Day gifts for the husband. The boys have an end-of-season baseball party at the local swim park tonight that dh is attending with them and dd is at a sleepover party, so I'm going to take advantage and make it a "me" evening. I'm very excited to do nothing and NOT watch sports on tv! Hope you're all have a great Saturday!

Today the plan is to go to the gym and do the treadmill and arm weights.
I wish I were a runner. It's abut 14C outside and not raining. It isn't hot, it isn't cold and it would be perfect for a long run. BUT I don't run. Maybe I will be able to go out for a walk or something. This is Elannah weather right here. It would be sinful after I complained about being hot all last summer to not enjoy this kind of non-heat! Love it!
Weight was the same but AF is due in a couple of hours or tomorrow. I won't weigh myself until that is done.

Hello ladies. Dd and I had a glorious day together yesterday. We had a tour of an Aveda school and facials, shopping, more shopping, late lunch out, and dessert at this little French shabby chic cake shop. We sat at the table next to the bakery window and watched them ice cakes as we talked and talked. It is hands down the best day we have spent together in years. DS and dh are in the air now on their way home from Houston. The baseball game they watched went into extra innings and dd's fave team won. So glad DS was able to tag along on this business trip. He really misses his dad when he travels each week. I ran this morning and have been putting around the house getting little things done all morning. When the boys get home we have a BBQ to go to. brandy327 glad to hear the banquet went well. Did you end up having rowdy kid issues? Delta Dawn enjoy your outdoor time. I love how much happier you have seemed the last few weeks. It makes me happy to "see" you happy. I hope Patter is enjoying having her dd home. needmysanity You can do it! missfrenchjessica maybe I should be a swim meet volunteer. That's a lot of steps!

We had a bad (read:really bad) incident happen about 3 weeks ago but otherwise things are going smoothly. We miss her, but know that she is happy, healthy and whole again. Thanks for noticing.

Good morning! It has been a hectic week. My mom and stepdad have been here since Wednesday and I haven't gotten any workouts in since then. We had baseball games every night but one and I worked late that night. Older two kids have tournaments this weekend (one in our town and the other an hour away). When we got home from the game last night youngest DS said his stomach was hurting. During the night he threw up. This morning he said he was feeling better but we went to one of the in town games and he was clearly not feeling well. I decided I would stay and watch there second in-town game Instead of Heading out of town. DS ended up getting sick again so we came home. DH coaches the team that is playing in town, so when that game is over one of us will head to the out of town tournament. I'm hoping that nobody else gets sick.
I've been doing well on my eating. If I can get DS to sleep I may try to get caught Up on my workouts. Otherwise I will do two tomorrow.

brandy327 glad to hear the banquet went well. Did you end up having rowdy kid issues? Yes, the out of control kids started as SOON as they got there. I'm SO glad I spent 99% of my time in the kitchen because I would've been fuming if I would've had to watch that all night. At one point when the coaches were giving their speeches and calling their players up to give them their gifts, there were 4 or 5 boys that were running around RIGHT up in front of where the coaches were. And these boys played in the U10 bracket - so most of them were 8 or 9. I got pissed off enough at one point that I told them to sit down and be respectful of the coaches that were speaking. They looked at me like I had 10 heads and turned around and took off. We will NEVER hold another indoor banquet like this if BFF and I are running it. What REALLY amazes me, is that the parents just don't freaking care!! We had the raffle baskets out for people to look at and bid on...one was a summer fun basket and had 3 boxes of candy in the front pocket of the cooler bag we used to put all the stuff in. Some 2yo walked up to the basket, took the box of candy out of it...took it to his mother. She looked at the box, opened it and gave the candy to the 2yo!!! WTF does that?! I didn't see it...I was in the kitchen. But that was the story that was relayed back to me. OMG, it wasn't the fact that the 2yo took the candy...seriously, it was a $1 box of candy. But the mother to just open it and give it to her kid?! WTF?! My 2yo brings me a box of candy, I go searching for where he/she got it and return it!!!!! But overall, the banquet went REALLY well and we got SO many compliments on the food. Last year, the people that catered it wouldn't let the adults have the macaroni and cheese and a lot of people were so mad. EVERYONE loves mac and cheese. LOL Sooooo, we had plenty of mac and cheese and it was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone of all ages!! I'm so glad to hear you had such a good time with your dd. How old is she again?! Sounds like a perfect day spent together!!

OMG brandy327 . I can't believe they behaved that way. My dd is 16 1/2 and such a doll! I understand that some kids get restless and have a hard time sitting still. But I just cannot get over letting your kids run around like crazy people, running into people, running behind the screen for the projector, knocking against the table that had the projector on it, they tripped over the amp cord and unplugged it. It was insane. Awwww!! I'm so glad you had such a good time with her! Sounds like some great bonding time!!

Good Morning-
Our agency dinner was amazing last night. We received an additional $7,200 in random donations from people attending. The food was off the hook and I ate every last bite - I'm afraid to get on the scale today.
Here's me last night. I loved my dress and need another event just so I can wear it!
Today is my rest day so no running but it will be full of errands and house stuff. DH wants to do appetizers at Applebee's for fathers day. That's an easy one and I don't have to cook this way - yay!
Vacation starts in 5 days....I can't wait!

I'm so glad you enjoyed yourself last night! And you look amazing in that dress!! I would not fear the scale, my friend! You don't eat like that every day and even if it does inch up, it's not the end all be all of this journey! My scale with up a little after my eating on Friday night. It was already headed back down this morning. I probably won't have a loss tomorrow but it's ok...I've thoroughly enjoyed the little break from the strict eating routine I've had since January. But today is the last day for the not great eating...I made some homemade strawberry shortcake biscuits to go with our fresh strawberries and homemade whipped cream that dh requested for his father's day dessert...and I'm going to enjoy one last yummy dessert and tomorrow I will go back to skipping the sweet stuff and skipping the carbs (like potatoes and rice and pasta) for a while.

Had a HORRIBLE binge this afternoon and I can't even say WHY. Ugh. Just went a little nuts with peanut butter and chocolate chips...oh, and the stupid potato chips my dh bought on Friday. I could smack him for buying them, 'cause he knows I'll eat them if they're in the house, but at the same time, no one forced them down my throat. This is all on me.
Just feeling defeated right now, but I'm going to stop focusing on the negative and push forward.
I had a sensible dinner and have been drinking a lot of water. Tomorrow is a new day and I will do better. It just SUCKS right now.
Last 1/2 day of school tomorrow and then a professional day on Tuesday and then I'll be on summer break. I'm so ready for it!

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back with my Body Analysis Test! It wasn't as bad as I thought, but a little weird. I went in wanting positive news. Tired of going to the Dr. and hearing that what I'm doing is just not good enough. I got positive news! For myself, I set the goal of 135 lbs. She said, with exercise (I'm doing 8-9 hrs a week!) and a caloric diet of around 1800 calories, her goal for me is 141 lbs!!!! That is TOTALLY doable for me, and I am really excited about that. Starting tomorrow, I have decided to ONLY count calories for the next 2 weeks, and see if I can break this plateau I have been on for what seems like forever. She gave me a range to shoot for, so 17-1900 calories a day is my goal. Here is what the test results look like: I will totally be doing this again in 12 weeks, so I can see how I have been doing before our anniversary trip! Here we go!

I haven't been on here in forever. Lots of stuff going...my mother finally had her hip replaced, AC problems, drs. appointments, getting ready for the first bathroom to be remodeled and the list goes on. Six weeks ago, I decided that I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. I have changed the way I have been eating and what I have been eating. As of yesterday, I have lost a total of 13.2 pounds and I am beyond ecstatic I have never lost that much weight, that fast and so far it has been simple and easy for me. I hope it continues to be. I have about another 135lbs. I want and need to lose.
