My boss and his wife invited me and my husband along on his private birthday tour of our favorite local brewery! We are getting a more in-depth tour than what the public usually receives.

I live overseas and I so excited that I will be back in the USA in 48 hours. Not looking forward to 24 hours of travel time with my 4 children but can't wait to spend 2 months in the US with friends and family! More specifically, I am really looking forward to Diet Dr. Pepper (which I cannot get where I live)

Summer vacation. My son is in the Canadian Forces and we have not seen him in 6 months. We get to spend almost 2 weeks with him. I am so excited to talk to him and get in as many hugs as I can.

I always think life is better when we have something to look forward to Today I'm looking forward to my swimming lesson (why did I wait 46 years to learn to swim properly? I could kick myself) My husband is coming over for ten days in a couple of weeks and we're planning things to do, so far we're going swimming, shopping, visiting York for the day and getting dressed up to go out on a proper date (I bought a dress!!) I have tickets to a soul night and bbq with a friend in early August. Over to you ladies, what are you looking forward to? I was just talking to my dd abut adult swim lessons. I knowhow to swim but would like to relearn the strokes so I can effectively lap swim for exercise. I'm looking forward to breaking ground on our house next month. Land is cleared just waiting on the permits. So fun!

Over to you ladies, what are you looking forward to? In no particular order 1. The end of the school year at 11:30 on Thursday...35 years down ONE left 2. My niece and her fiancee coming home in July for a few days 3 Trip to Florida in October to watch my Buffalo Bills play the Dolphins. My niece and fiancee and I are hanging out together for 4 days. She is--unfortunately--a convert to the Dolphins...Damn it

gar Congratulations on the grand baby Short term: I'm so excited about ds18 going to Kenya in a couple of weeks on an expedition he's planned, saved & worked for for over a year. I will really miss him but I'm so excited for him to have the experience. I'm also looking forward to my class finding out I'm teaching them again next year, they keep asking & suggesting it & I think they're going to be pleased (I'm thrilled!) Medium term: the end of term & going off on an eastern Mediterranean cruise at the end of July: Italy, Greece & Turkey. Long term: the challenge of next year (taking my class up a year) whilst also working on a degree course (equal parts excited & worried!)

I think I live just on the verge of depression sometimes, and I totally cope by figuring out what it is I have to look forward to. This really works for me--even something as small as a new pair of goofy socks to wear to work or a pre-ordered book finally being released on my Nook. It really makes a difference to my mindset and pulls me back into a good place.
Right now, I am very much looking forward to getting pregnant. I am in the middle of the IVF process. It's a whole lot of two steps forward/one step back (actually, it feels more like 1 step forward, half marathon backwards at some points...), but we should be at the putting-the-embryo-in point sometime in July, as long as there aren't any more snafus with my obstinate ovaries not cooperating.

Some of the grands are coming. We have some rustic cabins on reserve for a "camping" trip. The charcoal, sodas, chips and s'more makings have been packed. Still debating on how many hot dogs to take.

Our band has it's first show in over a year next weekend--on my birthday!
Next month, I'm throwing a big birthday party for my guy's "big" birthday. My brother may be coming in from Ohio and I haven't seen him for a couple of years.
And best still, the day before the birthday party, my stepdaughter and her husband are coming home from spending a year in Turkey and I absolutely can't wait to see them.

I'm looking forward to the EURO referendum being over - either way, at least we all know what to expect and I am sick of the arguments based on NO actual way of knowing what will happen and that the news stations suddenly bring BACK stories that have been done to death before anyway. Anyway, that is a kind of 'get it out of the way' thing to look forward to. What I am REALLY looking forward to is that Dad and I have just planned a visit to Vegas early next year to meet with my sister who will be travelling - and we are there over both of our birthdays!! This is going to be amazing!!

I agree - I love having something to look forward to!! And there's so much for this summer! This is our first full week of summer vacation. We were done last Tuesday but my BFF and I ran the end of year soccer banquet and all of last week was consumed with that. So I feel like FINALLY I can relax and enjoy some time off. No 5am alarms and just spending time with my kids. Our little fair starts on July 7th, so I'm looking forward to that because we do the night where they do the arm bands with my BFF and her family. We've been doing it for a few years now and while it's expensive and I hate paying the cost of those darned bands for like 5 rides, it's the time spent with our friends that we enjoy the most. The arm band night is Thursday...and then Saturday, we'll go again with my BFF and her family to watch the fireworks. The following week, dh is on vacation for 11 days...so we'll do some fun things with him while he's home...and also just relax a bit. We also have a shopping trip with BFF and her kids for school shopping stuff in August to some outlets that she's never been to! We're all excited about that!!

Ah yes, I am so looking forward to that being over. If I never see Nigel Farage again it will be too soon.
