I didn't know what else to call this. I was talking to BFF who also plans now and I was going to take my old Erin Condren planner apart and put the pages in my Kikki K planner. She told me not to bother doing that. Just cover the dates and stamp in the new date for a week at a time. That seems like so much less work. I have plenty of planner stickers I can use to cover dates. I stopped using the planner in about April last year because I couldn't write.
What are you doing with your planner this week?
Have you bought anything?
Have you decorated it differently?

Awesome thread! I just got the studio l2e icon stamps and am going to plan out my week with them! I love the little icons. I'll be uploading to blog soon and will post a link I'm interested to hear what everyone's favorite washi tape for planning is!

I got a washi sampler from someone. I will never need 200 yards of washi so this was a great compromise and I also got some Kelly Purkey stamps. They are adorable. They are her workout ones. I had a planner charm made for myself by someone in Mexico. It isn't here yet but if the photos are correct I am going to love it! Very excited about this!!!!!
My planner is full. Every single day so many things are on. It's fun and all but I need things to quiet down a bit!

I've saved some links for some free planner sticker printables but will have to wait to get ink for the printer now since it's all out. Bummer!
As far as washi goes, the narrower the better for me. I like to use a thin strip to block out certain periods of time like vacations, trainings, etc. and if I use the regular thickness I don't have enough room to write.
The most functional part of my planner is the monthly spread. I can be so scatter brained that I really like/need to see everything at once. I'm hoping, and really wanting, to use the daily pages as a journal. So far I'm having a hard time with this. I've had a paper planner for the past 20+ years so it's not new to me, but trying to make more use out of it has been difficult for some reason.

I want to try kiss cutting something free before I invest in paid printables

My favourite sticker supplier is releasing her mystery kit on the weekend and I am passing. I have bought enough and need to get my behind in gear and start doing more weekly spreads instead of just what I have to do in my agenda. I know I have to do this. Today was hectic but tomorrow is Tuesday and I have nothing big going on other than cooking a package of chicken for a potluck (chicken salad) and the eye doctor. I can spend an hour on planning.

This www.freeprettythingsforyou.com/about-and-disclosure/ is a cute website and she has cute freebie planner stickers. I love the cake ones and may download them. She posted her blog on Facebook or Pinterest and that's where I found out about her designs. I am pretty sure it's ok to share because she wouldn't be using social media to promote her products and blog otherwise, right?

So I've got a planner question for you all. Do you use your planner as your sole planning device? If so, how would you handle this scenario (for example): you're at the doctor and you need to make a follow up appointment in 3 months. Do you add it to your page right then? Write t on a post it? Put it in your phone and plan it later? Just trying to figure out a way to make this work practically!

Those printables are great! Thanks!
ellewood I really like the brush, but it will be hard to decide!
I don't actually use my planner for appointments. We use iCloud at home and I need to use google at work. I use my planner for reminders and to-do lists. Any random piece of info that I need to remember. I've tried so many digital tools, because I really am a techie, but my to-do lists never work there.

I'd take the paper appointment reminder, come home and then write/stamp/decorate the appointment on the month-at-a glance two page spread.

I'm not usually a floral type of person but she has some beautiful things. I especially like the watercolor florals. Thanks for sharing, and have fun at your potluck!

Congratulations on your win! I really am drawn to the brush font but personally think I would choose the basic set. It's a bit more artistic than the bold but easier to read and more clear than the brush. For filling in actual events, my brain needs something easy to read at a glance. In respose to your other question, my planner is the only place I put appointments. I'm a very visual and tactile person so it helps me a lot to have something in my hands to look at. The act of physically writing something down helps commit it to memory.

I got Headliner Bold I think. I would have to check but I think it's bold. I love her stamps. She's a good friend, and she's cool, too. I like how she runs her business.

I am looking at my larger planner (the A5 Kikki K Cobalt) and I put another planner's dividers in it. I have to use a paper trimmer to cut down some inserts I made for it. When I get motivated I am all gung ho and then I try it and don't feel like doing it. I love my pre-cut, pre-punched cheap Michaels inserts an awful lot. I know I have to do this as I need to do some journaling. I just can't seem to get into it. I think it's fear of using a paper trimmer again after not having used one for so long maybe.

I told her I couldn't decide, I liked them all, surprise me! So she sent me bold, saying she thinks they're the most versatile. I really did like them all! They do have awesome customer service!

You won't be disappointed. I really like her stamps. I wish she would go back to releasing monthly again instead of sometimes. Maybe it's more work than she thought? Her designs are awesome!
