I just had the strangest thoughts while unloading the dishwasher and putting away a couple of my PW mugs. Maybe it's because I am in the midst of re-doing my kitchen and looking for new things to "decorate" it with. Wouldn't it be kind of cool if you could buy framed prints of some of the vintage-y flowery artwork? I really like a lot of it, but it is tucked away in my kitchen cabinets for the most part. My other thought was that it would be kind of fun if she came out with a similar line for fall. I love fallish things.
Then again, the way Walmart has totally sucked at keeping some things in stock, I guess that would just be more stuff I would want and then not be able to get.

I haven't seen her stuff. I despise WalMart. But, I think your idea is a good one. I love pretty flowers.

Why can't you use some of her stuff out more? like hang the plates on the walls? use the linens to make curtains, etc? be creative.

Well, I googled vintage flower prints and PW. I thought there might be something out there that could be printed. I didn't see any. BUT I did see a placemat which got me thinking. You could possible buy one and frame it to hang in your kitchen. Or look at thrift stores for some old tablecloths that might be a vintagey print. I have a tablecloth from my grandmother that matches PW lines so close. I use it at Easter. I thought about pulling it out again and using it while I use the PW plates and stuff.

She is coming out next with fabric and home decor lines. If there aren't prints you could probably frame some pieces of the fabric.

I thought I'd read ... a long time ago when she was talking about changing the banner on her web page ... that she picks royalty free images to use. You could probably find very much of the same thing by googling vintage flowers ... or something with a more descriptive search.

Who does her art work? find that out. I mean, she isn't drawing/painting those flowers and such. She is having someone else do it.

Check out Dover Publications for copyright free artwork that you can use to make your own. It's what most of the celebs use because they don't have to pay royalties.
