I sometimes order my sons the same Prime item from Amazon. My son who lives in the DFW area always gets his in 2 days or less, but it often takes 3-4 days to get the same item to my son who lives in Wisconsin.

My hubby just pointed out to me that an Amazon fresh pickup of empty bags stayed outside at a house in our area for over 4 to 5 days.

The main problem I'm having with Amazon lately is not getting what I order. Examples--I ordered 12 packages of dental floss but only received one. I ordered a tablet case with a keyboard but received a plain case with no keyboard. In the first case, they refunded my purchase price and let me keep the one package of dental floss I received. In the second case, I had to return the case for a refund. I've returned the case and I'm waiting on my refund. However, I had to drive ten miles to ship the case back and then I had to order another case. I'm really not getting good service from Amazon right now. Oh and I've given up on two day shipping. If I'm really lucky, I get what I order in three days...or four...or five.

I've been disappointed with the number of days it now takes to ship many of my items. Me, too! I'll purchase a Prime item that's in stock, but it'll take them 4-5 days before they pull and ship it. Frustrating!

I think they got too big for their britches and expanded too fast, thus ruining what was already working so well. ITA!

It's pretty reliable and timely in my experience. Although, on my last order I paid for one day shipping. I received it in one day. Today (2 days after it was delivered) I received an email saying sorry that your order is late, we are refunding you the delivery fees.
I did notice that this package was delivered by a lady in s car.,.she didn't look like a delivery person (no uniform or truck, just a four door sedan). I am guessing they are contacting out and the contractors aren't that great at updating tracking.

---I have already replaced Amazon with Chewy.com for ALL pet food and items. They are WAY too good to be true, and I hope they never get bought. Employees have brains, care, and no dirty, HOT assed warehouses Very interested in the new Google Express concept & hope that will expand. If so, will be far better. ^^^ I got a mass mailing from this website and tossed it right into the recycle bin; now that I know someone has actually used it, I may check it out, now... thanks for mentioning it!

I didn't renew my prime membership for this very reason. They deliver to my post office who then delivers it to me. STUPID. My last Prime shipment said it was checked into my local UPS on Thursday night. On Friday it was out for delivery. On Friday afternoon it said delivered to my local USPS office. The package was delivered on Saturday by USPS. I ordered everything on Tuesday. Hardly two day shipping.
My first unPrime order said it would deliver in 5-7 days. I again ordered on Tuesday. My order followed the exact same path as my Prime order. Rip off!
