I have done WW one time and went in person. It worked very well for me. I need to go back this fall and can't decide if I should do online or go back to the meetings. Anyone have experience with both? I see the differences, but I have always trusted what the peas have to say. Thanks for any thoughts or insight!!

I can't afford to go in person. I have lost almost 50 lbs. online only.

I prefer meetings, but I have a great leader, that really makes a difference. I like the accountability plus the bling you get from the meetings. Between the free on-line community that is available 24/7 and the meetings, I have support continually and I love it. I never felt that I got the information clearly that I needed about the program on-line even though it is there. But the support is awesome.

I tried online and it wasn't for me...I need the support and the wake-up call of being accountable at a meeting. Stepping on that scale for me is BIG...and since it's "official." I tended to not weigh myself at home or get obsessive about it (to the point now I don't have a scale in the house.) I also agree with bdawnb, you need to find a leader that you like...my current leader is amazing, and I have worked my schedule so I can attend her meetings.

ITA! When I rejoined 3 years ago, I was so tempted to try online because it was cheaper. I made the decision to go to meetings and found it effective and even kind of fun. I'm a Lifetime member now and have managed to keep my weight off (and I no longer have to pay when I go to meetings). I have switched centers and have attended several different meetings to find a good fit for me. I still attend a meeting most weeks.
