I know right!? I usually hate those kind of parties but one of my BFFs is having one that's a wine company called wine shop at home. There's another gal there at the same time that has custom jewelry (another MLM). This is the first one ever that I thought sounded kind of fun.. and smart.
Anyone have any experience with their wines?

I haven't been to one, but several women at my exercise class were talking about how much fun they had at one last week. I would totally go if I was invited!

I have decided that I will only go to make up parties or food related parties... no more 31, jewelry, purse parties, etc. But I would DEFINITELY add WINE PARTY to my list! Sounds like a good time! Post a review after you attend!

I would love this. Any chance you get to sample a wine before buying I'm on board with.

I've never heard of them but that's a home party I'd attend!

The best one I ever went to was more like a party with friends than people selling to me. A few friends got together and contacted a few different MLM vendors. They were set up at different places in one of the homes. So you just mingled and drank and perused the set ups and visited with the sales person. No gimmicky pitches or pushyness. There was Pampered Chef, Wine A Rita, a candle one, jewelry of some sort, and 31, and I know something else. The vendors all said it was their best show ever by sales numbers. It was really fun.

I attended a party like this and I think that was the company, but I am not sure. We were able to taste several wines and the hostess provided snacks to go with the wine. The only downside was the shipping was REALLY expensive. I never ordered any of the wine because the shipping cost so much. Some people did go in together and had their wine shipped together to save shipping costs. If you only wanted to order a bottle or two, it was not worth it because of the shipping. If you ordered a case, then it wasn't as bad.

If you ordered a case, then it wasn't as bad. Coincidentally, I just went to a wine shop at home party last night. A lot of the people who made purchases went in together as well, as you said, to save shipping costs. The wines were good - we tasted 6 varieties, with specific items to snack on with each type (different cheeses, bread, fruit). The consultant was very knowledgeable and took a lot of time answering questions. But yeah, I mostly dislike MLM parties too, and will only attend them for a really good reason (relative, close friend, products I'm going to buy anyway....) Save
