I saw a recipe pin I thought I'd like to save, but I decided to look at the recipe first. Link didn't take me to the recipe on the linked blog. So I decided to look through recent posts. There were only about 10 recipes on the whole blog, and none of them matched the recipe.
I thought it was a one off, but it's happened several times. So if you really want the recipe or need the info on the website, you need to double check.
There's some pins that I just want it for the photo--like an idea for wardrobe inspiration, jewellery, a craft idea that I don't need instructions for. Others I know won't have info on the site--they're clickbait. (**click here for ways to get rid of spider veins that links to a plastic surgeon hawking skin cream)

I try to follow the Pin back to the original link (especially recipe pins) before I pin it. It is really frustrating to want to find the directions to something you have pinned, only to find that the link is "broken" or doesn't exist any more.

I try to follow the Pin back to the original link (especially recipe pins) before I pin it. Same here! Another thing I don't like is the recipes that don't go to the direct page. It goes on and on about how great this tastes and then "click here for the recipe!" I got annoyed by this on a couple of pins and in the comments I said direct link: ____________ and I put the right one.

I usually do a google search to the actual recipe then pin it. It does get annoying though.
