I was looking at the different enamel dots for sale online and found it hard to tell just how raised they are from the photos. I am not a bulky scrapper so I am looking for the flatest dots, does anyone know if someone makes this type of dot?

I totally understand! The Simple Stories ones are flatter than MME... And if you can find any YNS gumdrops ("your next stamp" brand) I find them even flatter. and cheaper Have you considered buying the new NUVO glossy drops that everyone is raving about? Then you could control your thickness. I don't have any, but sure have been tempted!

I totally understand. I'm a pretty flat scrapper as well.
I have actually found flat enamel dots at the Dollar Tree. Not to be confused with their version of half pearl dots, which are not flat at all.
Michael's store brand of enamel dots is pretty flat.
ACM's Nicole Bling It brand is more raised than I like.
And then there is always the Nuvo dots, where you can control how raised your dots are.

If you are worried about bulk, why not use brads. You can color brads by embossing or using alcohol markers like bic mark-it or copic brands. I have so many brads, I'd rather use them up before buying packs of enamel dots. (I do love enamels though)

They need to make more bright glossy colors, PRONTO!!!

I just tried Nuvo drops and they came out way too high for me and I couldn't seem to get the thin results I wanted. Guess I'm looking for discs rather than dots. I found some by AC at TM but they only had one package left. These have the flatness I desire but I can't seem to find anyone selling them for a decent price. I would prefer buying already made dots since I won't use them often enough to invest in bottles of Nuvo. I have a huge supply of all color brads but I just wanted a change. I was hoping someone put together a side by side comparison of the different brands of dots to be able to tell just how raised each is, or better yet include a pic of the dots on a fingertip on the packaging. When I have to rely on photos to shop online this information would be helpful.

I got some at Hobby Lobby that are pretty flat. I also have melted my kid's perler beads.

Melted perler beads are quite flat. I had to melt mine almost twice as long as the directions I found. Maybe it's because I'm at a higher altitude?
