I finally was able to play around with my Nuvo drops yesterday.
I stamps the images with black Archival Ink, then colored them with Prisma colored pencils. (And I answered my own question from a previous thread: Nuvo drops stick to Prisma pencil coloring just fine)
On the dreamcatcher, I used orange to outline the outer circle. And dark blue and turquoise for the beads both on the webbing, and just above the feathers.
On the bubblebee, I used yellow to outline the wings, two dots for the end of the antenna, and the last two body segments.
On the camera, I used turquoise to outline the lens, and yellow to make dots around the heart, and one little dots just on the yellow part (outlined in red, just under the two dials)
On the journaling spot, I outlined the whole shape, following the ink.
I really love how these all came out. The tiny detail able to be achieved is awesome. I actually think it is easier to do fine work with Nuvo drops, than to make bigger dots.

Wow! Those look great. Now I'm sorry I only bought basics (black, gold, silver).

Now I'm sorry I only bought basics (black, gold, silver) I didn't get black, gold, or silver. I wish I had, but I wanted to get bright colors at the time. Now I kinda wish I had them all (well, the gloss ones anyway). But I also am not sure if I want to invest in so much.

Those look great! I'm loving these ideas to use Nuvo drops for more than just dots.

those are all beautiful!!
I haven't tried Nuvo drops yet but I just may *need* some of them, now... lol! I have an issue with making Stickles, etc. small enough for (well-done) fine details and small sized dots, so this may be the product for me!

The consistency of Nuvo drops is very different than Stickles. They flow so much more smoothly. I think you need these!

The consistency of Nuvo drops is very different than Stickles. Very true. At least true for the gloss drops I've been using. I didn't buy any of the glitter drops.

For consistency, the Nuvo are much more like Rangers' Liquid Pearls than they are like Stickles. The Nuvo are a little thicker, and when you make a "pearl", they stand a little higher. The Gloss ones also have a sharper colour. The Crystal ones are more pearlescent. I wondered about my ability to make the Nuvo drops go where I wanted them, but for the most part they have been easy to work with. Always check on a piece of scrap first, though, in case there is a blockage or an air bubble. Once that is cleared up, the liquid seems to dispense freely and as fine as you want it.
