Okay so this is the time of year I plot what new shows I'm going to be watching for the summer. With my copy of Entertainment Weekly in hand I'm dvr-ing:
Unreal on Lifetime (I tried last season and gave up after the first episode, going to give it another try)
Animal Kingdom on TNT (have to catch up on two episodes), looks sort of like Sons of Anarchy-ish. Anyone watching?
Feed the Beast with David Schwimmer on AMC, so far, pretty good
American West on PBS (have to catch up a couple episodes)
American Gothic on CBS
Thirteen on BBC
Queen of the South on USA
Greenleaf on OWN (watched all 3 episodes yesterday and it's pretty good so far)
The Tunnel on PBS
as well as continuing
RHWOC, RHONY (did anyone catch the Luanne special? Wow, what a fabulous life!)
Then on Netlix I'm wavering between OITNB, I didn't watch last season, got bored with it. IDK yet
I'm debating picking up Mr. Robot. Last season I got kind of lost and I'd have rewatch to follow the story line.
Man, that's a lot of tv, lol. I'll weed out some shows but I'm at least going to give these new ones a try. Coming in July is a one called Dead of summer on Freeform, and looking forward to Stranger Things with Winona Ryder on Netflix coming in July.
<added> Outlander! OMG how can I forget you, Jamie? ahhh...
What about you all?

Watching the 3rd ep of Animal Kingdom. I like it so far.
I started The Tunnel, too. I didn't realize it was the British version of The Bridge.
There's a new BBCA series starting tonight, 13, I think is the name. Looks creepy.
I tried the CBS ones. American Gothic was sort of a sleeper, and seemed to be sort of a rip-off of The Family (powerful New England woman running for office, family has lots of secrets.)
Brain Dead? Sorry, could not even get into the first 15 minutes without turning it off, the premise was wayyyyy too out there for me.

With Mr. Robot, I may have to re-watch Season 1 again before 2 starts. It's not a show I can just watch in the background. So much is going on.

I'm watching Bloodline and just finished OITNB. Unreal is not keeping my attention this season- still on the fence. And of course, Hell on Wheels!

Big Brother, RHOC, RHONY and The Olympic Trails (eventually the Olympics) are dominating my DVR right now. I'm also watching the OJ Made In America documentary on ESPN and then I want to get to OITNB.
I know this isn't necessarily new but Bloodline on Netflix was amazing! I watched both seasons in a weekend!

Big brother and the last ship are also good. I am so irritated that not only is Tex MIA, but they aren't saying anything like...'oh, Tex is hanging out with his daughter now' or whatever. Just ... poof. No Tex. Okay, they brought back hunky Australian guy, but still. No Tex. Obviously, I am watching the Last Ship.

RHOC and NY Big Brother Unreal AND The Bachelorette 2 RV shows (dreaming about retirement someday) new (to me at least) HH and HHI episodes Fabulously Single Monica the Medium Wow, that's a lot of reality TV. Do I watch any "real" shows since Grey's is done? Hmm, I FF through Maya and Marty for the acts/skits i like, same with SNL. Life in Pieces reruns ... yeah, okay, not much. A lot of regular shows are too violent, gory, and/or sexual for me. And formulaic. The whole time I'm watching, my mind is saying, "and next they're gonna' say" or "of course, that's the love interest." They never surprise me

I may remove some of these from my rotation that aren't getting good reviews and check out Netflix. It wasn't on Neftflix before and I want to start from season 1.. Thanks for letting me know. I'm definitely having DA withdrawals..

I'm so spoiled after Breaking Bad I keep trying to find really smart programming. I just finished the Girlfriend Experience and although it was depressing, it was really good. Did you catch the RHWNY special on Luanne? What did you think?

I'm waiting for Tyrant.
Watching Animal Kingdom because of Ellen Barkin. She's so good at being sleazy! It lacks a higher concept like Sons of Anarchy though. FWIW my DH snickered when I said that...
Stockpiling Preacher, but probably won't watch it. Saving Feed The Beast to binge watch.

Unreal, and Americas got talent. Boring I know. I don't usually watch America's got Talent, but saw a clip of a young cancer survivor. So sweet and talented! I might have to watch this season!

OITNB is my favorite binge watch.
Below Deck is good fun. That would be a really fun career for a young, single person. Wish I knew that those careers existed when I was in my twenties. Then again, I stupidly passed up an opportunity to become a flight attendant. I had the job in the bag and said, "no". That was back in the day when it was a great paying job.
The Bachelorette and then BIP are great fun. I love the villains.

Why on earth did I just ramble that? Maybe I need to watch more TV? The Bachelorette and then BIP are great fun. I love the villains.

I am so out of the loop with network tv-especially if it's new. During the summer I prefer binge watching shows. Right now I'm watching Six Feet Under. I really love it. Maybe I'll watch Dexter next. And I plan to rewatch Poldark this summer too.

I usually don't start watching until the Semifinals. But since my list of summer TV shows has dwindled it's better than nothing. But so far I have really enjoyed this season. Great talent, and It's good to see Simon again. Jeb

Anxious for Suits to start back and Murder in the First. I like SyFi shows too - 12 Monkeys is almost done, but Killjoys and Dark Matter are back next week. Lol, I watch as much tv in the summer as I do in the regular season!

Finishing up Outlander and Game of Thrones. Finished OITNB. Watching Bloodline but having a hard time getting into season 2. Watched all three episodes of Animal Kingdom so far and the jury is out for me. I'll give it a couple more since it's summer. Ellen Barkin is really good and I've loved Scott Speedman since Felicity. I always watch MasterChef with my kids. Waiting for Suits to return!
