While we were shopping for school clothes today, I put my phone down for all of three minutes, forgot and walked away, remembered, walked back and it was gone. Anyway, after calling it several times, sending text messages several times, and asking at the front desk, I went to the Verizon store and had them suspend the number. They couldn't wipe the phone. It was an Android and I never put any of those locator devices on it. They reassured me that once I suspended the phone on that number, no one can use it for anything. I had my bank account app on there -- but you have to sign in with user name and password every single time. Has anyone gone through this and not been able to totally wipe the phone and everything turned out OK?

I don't have verizon or an android. I just want to say I'm sorry. Losing your phone is so stressful. My DD's phone was stolen, but we got it back.

Can you go change your user name and password on your bank account?

I'm so sorry! I thought I had lost mine this morning. I'm driving up the hill to our house when I brushed my hand across my pocket and didn't feel it. I had that horrible stomach turning moment. Thank goodness it's only a couple of miles to my house or I would have been on the side of the road looking through my car. I had been in 3 different places, along with walking through the city. Thankfully, it had fallen out of my pocket and was under the seat of the car.
i hope you can recover yours.
