Maybe we only get it here in Canada, but it is SO weird.
There is a couple sitting at a table with their morning coffee. The guy has one of those foam earplugs sticking out his ear. And he says "ever since the incident at the trailer park in Sudbury, I like my coffee rich and creamy"
And that's it!
Now, there is a second one airing - with just a woman pouring her coffee (different woman than the first one). She has a splint on her finger. And she says "ever since......the incident.........at the trailer park in Sudbury, I like my coffee rich and creamy"
Driving us nuts...WHAT incident?? LOL

Strange. I'm thinking the splinted finger somehow got into the ear. LOL

This campaign pisses me off because of the stupid vagueness of it. I'm sorry, either tell me the whole damn story or STFU. I don't have time for their stupid treasure hunt bullshit. Either the Sudbury Incident is relevant to the ad or it's not. Apparently since they are doing the TV version of vaguebooking, it's obviously not relevant and a waste of my time. Argh. I hate idiotic adverts like this, yet the ad teams think they are cute (I've talked to a couple ad people... they think it's genius... idiots).
Not to mention coffeemate is disgusting.
