*****update*****
I went and got a new Selphy 1200....it won't be the only thing I use to do printing though, I have to many photos for that little machine but it will help in the journaling pictures I am doing...
I posted on the NSBR board and never thought of coming over here to ask so I copied and pasted what I am needing...here it is....
I am needing a place to print out pictures from my digital camera and was hoping someone could direct me to the best place to go, Snapfish,Target,Walgreen's or someplace I have not heard of...
Can someone please let me know where is the best place to go to get this done?
I am way behind in getting these pictures off the cards...
*************** UPDATED**************
I want to get a 4x6 print and want 2 pictures on the same subject on the same print...so the pic will be 2x3...making sense? The smaller ones are for journaling. I got a kit from Marion Smith a few years ago and put that together and it is a sweet little journal you put tags ,pictures and journal in it. The journal size is around a 4x6 size when put together...
I also got a new Cannon Dig camera at Christmas(still learning on it) and like the pics on it. So much clearer shots. The 2 pictures on one print is an important factor I need so I am hoping these places all of you recommend do this. Oh and it has to be ol' lady friendly...
Thank you Peas for trying to help this ol' lady learn it takes me a bit to get anything new...

I usually do this in my Photoshop Elements program. I just create a new 4 x 6 blank file. Open the two pictures I want on the 4 x 6. Slide one onto the 4 x 6 blank file. Grab a corner pull it down until it is small enough to cover 1/2 of the 4 x 6. Move it to the left half of the 4 x 6. Repeat the same procedure with the second picture. Move it to the right half of the 4 x 6. Save as a jpeg. print. cut apart. Go.
I use my selfie to print these types of pictures
I use Costco for all other printing.

Before I got at at home printer, I used Costco for most of my printing because of the price. Similar to tomocus, I created a template in Photoshop that was sized 4x6 but divided into 2 3x4 halves. Once you create a template, it's really easy to repeatedly do this for files uploaded to Costco, or printed out on your home computer. Good luck!

I am another Costco fan for printing. The quality and price are both wonderful.
Fir the 2 pics on 4x6 I use Photosheet. It is a free download and you can decide what size and how many pics on a size of print.

If you are not good at photoshop, the easiest way to print two photos on a 4x6 mat is to use an app. I really like the project life app for this. As for printing, it is a hit or miss. I have found great success with CVS lately. But two years ago they did a horrible jog.

If you have the photos on your phone you can use PicCollage app for templates. One of them is 2-4x3 printed on a 4x6. Endless collage variations. I often use Walgreens 1 hr service with a coupon from retailmenot. All done online. Dirt cheap. Or I print at home using an EPSON ET-2550. Its one of those ink tank printers. Its good enough for my PL life stuff. I print all the time, my daughter prints enormous amounts of pages for school. Got the printer maybe two years ago, haven't refilled ink once and its not even halfway empty (there are only four colors to be refilled, so maybe the photo quality suffers? I haven't had an issue.)
