**update** Had the xray...slight hairline, deep bone bruise and she was about 90% sure based on exam and pain I have bicep tendon damage.this pic was yesterday, 3 days after injury This is my leg...worse bruise If you had a minor wreck on a dirt bike and your upper arm took the brunt of you slamming against the wood and metal bleachers...and there was pain, bruising and minor swelling pretty quick...and 2 days later you are limited on using that arm and really bruised...would you opt for an xray? Or just think it's a deep bruise?

x ray. It doesn't take a lot to break a bone.

Ouch! Are you OK, otherwise? Thank goodness it wasn't your head.

Ouch! Are you OK, otherwise? Thank goodness it wasn't your head. Aside from all I listed with the arm, yes..lol. the bruise on my leg hurts, but the overall body aches are about gone. Yes I was fortunate I didn't hit my head/face. I'll leave the bikes to the boys!

Ouch.
I would push for an MRI to look at the bicep for a tear. DH damaged his tricep and Dr referred him to physical therapy. DH didn't want to do PT because he was sure it was torn and fought for an MRI which he finally got months later and surgery was needed to repair the tear (but it became a bigger surgery because of the healing that had already happened). The surgeon told him next time go to the PT because the therapist would have recognized it as a tear injury.
