I got a couple of chicken breast out of the freezer and mean to put them in the fridge and I forgot.
They were out for about 6 hours. They are defrosted now.
Would you cook and eat them?

Yes, I fully admit to thawing chicken outside of the refrigerator.

Yes, assuming they haven't been in the sun or your house isn't super hot. Cook properly and they'll be fine. I defrost outside the fridge sometimes.

They are still cold. They don't smell or are slimy.. so if we sick this evening I"m blaming the peas! The big one wasn't completely defrosted.

But seriously...the big one wasn't even fully defrosted yet?
I promise you, they are fine.
Cook thoroughly, you'll live another day.

The chicken will be fine (but I defrost on the counter all the time, I'm a rule breaker). Not sure I'd eat this thread, it seems a bit sketchy

Let us know if you survived eating the chicken. If we don't hear from her again, I guess we have our answer. (If they were still cold, I would probably cook them. If they room temp anywhere on them, I would not.)
