Yay for purple. It has a Memorandum vibe to me. I liked that line, so I could see myself wanting a couple of pieces of this one.

Man, I don't like this line.
Could it be that I am remembering her stealing the other designs? Yeah.
But this line screams 80's grandma to me at first glance.

I really like that house paper. Yes I like that sheet. Not sure if the watercolour behind it is the back of that sheet or a separate one. The little honeycombs are cute too.

The paper with the sweet life writing on it reminds of the recent pinkfresh studio Life paper.

Not a fan. I like the colors, but the way things are put together doesn't fit for me.

I don't like it either. The colors are the same as the fancy free, just different ripped off designs. Oops, did I say that out loud?

With this feedback, they better reconsider not printing more Fancy Free.

With this feedback, they better reconsider not printing more Fancy Free. They can't print more Fancy Free...it was in the agreement they made with the artist that Paige said she was "inspired by" but they basically stole her design. PP apologized etc etc but they are not allowed to print anymore of that collection. It even seemed as though they shorted retailers on this line altogether because people were promised quite a bit more stock than AC/Pink Paislee delivered in the end. Save

SaveIt would be stupid of AC to extend an agreement like that to the whole line...she can't lay claim to more than that one design. I have heard this rumor and others that relate to inaccessibility of several lines as a result of the warehouse move (basically, no sense in making more with new stuff right around the corner). No telling what is true and what is rumor. Sigh...

From what I remember reading PP basically agreed to not print anymore so that the original artist would not sue their pants off.

Is it me or are the preview pics, kind of over exposed? They don't seem like...crisp photos. The cross stitch reminded me of my mom who has made many pieces, so I like it for that reason. I can see using an embellishment or page, not the whole collection.
I am liking it better than the Amy Tan line. Still, there were parts of that I wouldn't mind.
And yet again, pink, blues, golds, watercolor look. Sigh

There are some individual pieces I love in this line, but the overall is very 80's to me. I will buy some of the items - the thicker, the stamp and some of the more modern papers (the hexagon paper is GORGE!).
But the pink chesterfield ephemera, the cross-stitch, the bow-shaped buttons? I feel like those would only be appropriate on a page about the 80's or a fussy grandma.

I like the paperclips even though I am terrible at using them, I think because of the square shape to the ends. I don't mind the colours overall but there is not really anything that I feel the need to add to my stash.
And that couch - seriously how are people using these??

I dislike the crossstitching very much. But the colours are lovely, and some of the paper peaks look good. And the thickers are delish! (Never used a pink couch, never will...)

So honestly I think this collection is more authentic and true to Paige than Fancy Free. I know so many people loved Fancy Free but to me that wasn't really Paige. It was based on a bunch of things she had pinned to Pinterest and unfortunately it didn't turn out well. It was pretty but the whole copyright thing...ugh. Here I think Paige really used things from her life to inspire. That couch ephemera is just like that real pink couch she owns and loves. The cross stitching? Well she's into sewing on her pages and a homey feel. I see inspiration from her travels for sure. I see a lot of her in this collection and I think that's what it should be when these women are inspiring designs for a collection. So huge props to her for going in the right and authentic direction. It may not be everyone's fave but I think she really put herself out there this time around. And the florals in this collection are fabulous to me. Will prob skip over the cross stitch things though

This one is a pass from me, just not my style I guess. Those bow shaped buttons really remind me of those multi packs of buttons and shapes that were everywhere in the early 2000's, pretty sure I had ones in different flowers, hearts and balloons.
