I just got back from a vacation and really want to sb the trip (I haven't scrapped in quite some time.)
I like a matte finish. Where do you get your photos printed?

I print mine on my Selphy at home. Very convenient.
I tend to pick out 7-10 different combinations of 2-4 complementing papers, then Photoshop the pictures I choose from the computer, print them out on the Selphy, match them to the different paper combos they go with, put all combos in one pile stacked, then place in a large clear Ziploc-styled bag and I'm ready to go for the next 7-10 layouts, then repeat process when I run out.
Selphy is glossy finish though.

I use Snapfish exclusively. I wait for the 100 prints for $10 shipped deal. You can search coupon codes online and usually find a deal like that. I absolutely love Snapfish's quality. I've had thousands printed there. I upload at highest res and do not allow them to auto correct. I do that.

We use Costco. They have a matte finish option.

I also use Costco, matte finish. The only thing is that you need to look at your photos before paying. I've had them resize and cut off part of the photo. They will reprint if you haven't already paid.

Costco, I use the 'lustre' option as well. There are few places that I visit that know my name- the Costco photo lab guys are always super friendly and will pull my order when they see me walk in the door, makes me feel kinda special, haha!

I print at home with the canon pixma pro 9000. I recently made the mistake of printing some at cvs and they were awful. The paper was thin and flimsy and the photos just looked flat.

I use Jessica Sprague printing - it's called Scrapping Simply. They have flat $5 shipping & I love the quality of the photos.

I too like matte finish and have been using costco for the low cost prints, but to be honest recently I have been disappointed. The photos always seem to come out dark even though I have the auto correct turned off. Years ago I went around town and had the same photo printed and it was amazing at the difference in print quality. I probably need to do that again.

Another Snapfish girl.
I especially love that if I'm in a hurry I can pick them up at my local Walmart or Walgreen's. My Walgreen's doesn't see a lot of action, so I can usually get them in under an hour!

I use shutterfly especially for matte finish and for large batches. If I'm in a pinch and need the pics right away I belong to Sam's warehouse club and can get them printed matte there as well.

I use snap fish or shutterfly for matte prints when they have a deal. When I only need a few I print them at home.

Since I don't print at home,I still use Walgreens and have never had an issue, and I have tons of pics printed. They do both matte and glossy, and they are now printing 4x4 and 8x8,too.

Costco, although I have been wanting to try out shutter fly. I downloaded their app month ago and keep getting some great coupons.

I upload mine, edit in Picasa, then upload to Walmart.com and have them delivered to my home.

I use Shutterfly almost exclusively. I used to use Kodak and when they went away all my Kodak albums migrated to Shutterfly. If I want an enlargement or special print, I use Persnickety prints and if I have a couple random cell phone pictures, I use my Selphy and print at home.

If I don't print at home then I use Shutterfly (although I don't think their quality has been as nice lately).

I get a Groove Book every month.
I saw it on Shark Tank and it's an app for your phone. I download 100 photos to their site from my phone and they send me a Groove Book for $2.99 a month and that includes shipping. I think it's awesome. I edit all my photos prior on my phone and at 2.99 for 100 photos shipped. I love it. The photos are typically 4x6, unless I'm pulling from my Instagram photos and if so, they're square. There's a perforated edge, so I can pull the photo out of the book very easily to scrapbook.

I recently tried York photo and I am very disappointed in their quality of paper, color, etc. It took forever for me to get my prints: About 13 days. That's insane! And, yesterday I went to a crop and I was doing a PL LO and find out their not even true 4X6? I think I am going to try some of the recommendations from the Peas above. BTW, are we still calling each other Peas?
