What have I missed is an impossible question! I unintentionally left my scrapbooking behind and it was a huge part of life for so many years. I became attached to my camera and started a small business with that, which is still going, just scaled back. That was what pulled me away. Life got too busy, weddings were planned, now two grand babies have been born, and I still miss it everyday. So tonight I am planning a comeback. Maybe a scheduled evening ever two weeks to start. I have to plan these days, to be real, I lost my scrap desk to a crib. Not quite as comfortable haha. The room is there all around that crib. The crib is a beautiful sight to me, I love my granddaughters so ver much. So I'll just use the toddlers table in there on my planned days! Thanks for reading all of this I just needed to type out my plan to someone who would listen and possibly encourage and inspire me to finally do this, thank you, I really miss this. Cindy

Welcome back to this wonderful hobby. And it sounds as though there are some wonderful things you can scrap since you have taken a break!

Do you listen to the Scrap Gals podcast? If not, you should. Listening to the gals chat is like attending a crop with good friends. It's really motivating. Www.thescrapgals.com

BTW...my last layout made was 2.5 years ago. I was an avid stamper, card maker also. I have dabbled in those things here and there. Basic Grey was my all time favorite paper. I have heard they are gone, but I have enough of it to last a lifetime haha.

I laugh also at the new member status, I had many years in, and a few badges too!

I hope you are signed up for the Gallery and will share photos of your creations once you get going. What type of scrapping do you do? You will have SO much fun scrapping those weddings and grandbabies! Booking in a specific time is a good idea, at least until you get into the hobby again. I always have a hard time getting started, but once I do, then each time I go back to it, it is easier. Good luck! Looking forward to seeing what you create!

Come on back and hang out with us! There are so many talented and interesting crafters here, many with blogs and great advice. Check out the stamping board, too, along with galleries here and at places like Scrapbook.com.
I was a lone scrapper until I discovered 2Peas a few years ago. Wow, did I learn a lot about new techniques and products! Scrapbooking is a very different craft than it was way back when. I'm having so much fun exploring it all. Don't let it overwhelm you, just take it in a little at a time.

Welcome back but warning....these ladies are enablers! I took a 3 year break and now I spend my time "updating" my stash. I have yet to scrap a single page but I have enjoyed every minute of it!

I am also wanting to get back to digital scrapbooking. Does anyone digital scrapbook on this forum, or just traditional? I previously used Creative Memories and then switched to Panstoria but I am now a Mac user and I don't like Parallels. I am wanting to switch to a software that works on a Mac without Windows. I am reading a lot about Photoshop Elements but I am not sure if I want to spend a lot of time learning something new. I really need some help and motivation to get back to it and work on my album for 2009 photos!
Also wondering if anyone uses something small and portable like a MacBook. I have an IMac and I don't necessarily want to chain myself to my desk to work on projects.
