what would your theme be? What types of icons and patterns would you want to include? What products, other than paper would you like to have in your line? Going to go think about this a bit and then be back with my answer.

Cameras, always cameras. Washi, and wood veneer. I'm always a sucker for all three. And I fabulous pack of die cuts!
Shades of blue and greens...
All of my favorites!

I would do a line like Little Yellow Bicycle Splash. I love the prints used in traditional items like waves made out of paisley. I love the bright colors like orange, royal blue, red, lime green and yellow.
I would probably use that style to do a summer line and a fall line using the same color pallet but mixing it up to emphasize the orange and yellow.
I would have glossy chipboard accents, enamel dots and all kinds of fun patterned paper.

Staycation would be my theme.
Phrases like "Movie night" "In the Backyard" "Water Balloon Fight" "Take out" "Local attraction" "Playing Tourist" "Fun Together" "Library Visit"
(another poster mentioned in another thread) Journaling cards with room to actually journal.
I would want washi, chipboard, stickers, etc to come in two versions. Silver foil accented, or gold foil accented. So you could use both, one or the other, or even none if metallic foil was not your thing.
I'd love enamel shapes like arrows, push pins, and clocks.
I would also like some of the patterned paper to be just outlines, allowing us to color the whole sheet as we saw fit. You could use colored pencils, markers, watercolors. Just outline them with Stickles or Nuvo drops. It could be completely customizable.
I'd also like embellishments that put a focus on the amount of time we spend in the car. We run errands. Have appointments to keep. Go to work.
I want stickers that say, "Jammin' in the car." Or even "Car Karaoke." "I like the long way around." "All greens from here." "Get in gear and go!"
I want to see enamel or chipboard steering wheels.
I want journal cards that say: "Today, I....." and leave several lines underneath to write down where you went, what you accomplished, etc.

I had 2 different ideas 1. A back yard line - grills, bubbles, yard games like badminton, croquette, volleyball...maybe lawn mower. Diecuts, puffy stickers, wood veneers of bubble wands and bubbles, bright pastels like bubblegum pink, aqua, lavender, lemon yellow.
2. A househole line - Mid century modern influence, funky furniture, lamps, clocks.... Die cuts, cocktail glasses puffy stickers, starburst wood veneer, bright pinks and teals with just a touch of gold.

The household line idea reminds me of Modern Homemaker by OA which I would love to see something similar to ... even I don't have much MH since it is SO old! Save

I would like a storybook line. This would be sort of difficult to do without it being too cutesy. I want nice illustrations, nothing Disneyish and not too cutesy (ie Doodlebug). BUT I want it to be usable, unlike lines like Graphic 45 or Prima tend to make in this vein. I look at those but never use them. I would like text print papers, and perhaps some book cover styles too. Definitely puffy stickers, flat stickers, die cuts, enamel shapes and a 12x12 chipboard sheet!
For me though, it isn't just about how the lines are themed, but perhaps more along the styling of the lines. I want more retro feeling collections like October Afternoon makes, or Cosmo Cricket used to make, or Sassafras. I am tired of of the current trends and styles. if they have to do something unoriginal at least do it the way I LIKE =P

Absolutely garden gnomes and flamingos! I actually meant to add the flamingos and I have no idea why I didn't think of garden gnomes myself as I love all thing kitschy. The household idea... I can see the connection with Modern Homemaker (I do love that line!) I would want mine a bit more clearly mid-century design-wise... More hip, if you will.

No themes for me....
I would want a paper line with: polka dots, a plaid, a stripe and florals. Something with brighter colors, and accents of black.

No themes from me either, I kind of want a classic line that has staples in it.
I want rub-ons with rows of numbers & letters in black, white & grey. The kind I can rub-on and then layer titles or embellishments on top of.
Arrows, lots and lots of different sized arrows in puffy, wood, acetate, all sorts of media.
Photo turns/anchors in classic colours and chunky styles so they're large enough not to get lost (I'm thinking of those arrow ones 7Gypsies did and the larger sized ones American Crafts did).
Papers with small repeating patterns in nice bright colours.
Rubber. I love rubber embellishments.

The only theme I can think of would be wine (or wine and cheese) - with glasses, names of different wines, vines & grapes, etc. I would use it for LOs such as ladies' night out, anniversary celebration, or dinner out with friends, or "congratulations" cards.
For non-themed, I like small, elegant prints of stripes, fleurs de lis, marbled colors (like the endpapers of old books), and faux-texture prints (but not photograph-of-a-tree-trunk prints). I wish the manufacturers could offer an add-on packet of such papers in the same color palette as a collection! Since I am mostly a cardmaker, I would buy a couple of the primary collection pp sheets, but I'd buy the whole add-on pack!

Date Night , Movies, eating out.... Non of which involve a suitcase or airplane..lol.

Oh I would totally buy that Staycation collection! Somebody needs to get to work on that!! I also love prowling around in thrift stores, so there are some possibilities there! I'm a sucker for anything book themed--library type cards and pockets, book and reading motifs.. I also think the "color it yourself" idea is interesting, especially with the adult coloring book trend being so big right now. I'd include lots of die cuts, a stamp set and wood veneer, for sure. And cork pieces. Possibly some stencils if I could come up with something new.

I would do a animal line - I really like that cat one studio calico did, only I'd have more animals and not just cats and dogs. Birds could be cute too.

This isn't so much an idea for a "themed" collection, but I would love to design a line of vintage-style albums, i.e. stringbound with plain black pages. And then coordinating white ink pens, photo corners, labels, and maybe some vintage-y rubons. Kind of like the K&Co Ancestry line from years back, but a little classier.
