Happy Canada Day! We are going out for dinner with our DS, his GF and her parents to our favourite Indian restaurant. Then we are going to try and find parking to watch the fireworks at Kalamalka Lake. Fingers crossed!  |

Happy Canada Day!! So proud to be a Canadian. We are going to my sister in law's she's having a big backyard party. No fireworks in our little town tonight as they are saving them for August when our neighbouring town and surrounding municipality celebrate their Centennial. Here is a quirky video from CBC comdey's Facebook page on How to be a Canadian Another is a from astronaut Chris Hatfield and his brother Dave. A song called In Canada I think I've embedded it below. So many fun things like this I could watch and link them all day. |

Anyone watching the celebration in Ottawa? It was fun to see the Gov. General & PM dancing with the opening song.
The Mounties, horses & Red Surge uniforms are so Patriotic.
Hopefully next year I will be "on the hill".
