Paper trimmer. I don't have room for it on my desk but it's always leaning against my desk leg on my right hand side. Also, adhesives, scissors, pens. The basic stuff you'd need after you gather the specific paper/cards/embellishments that you'll be working with.

Pretty much what ellewood said. Besides the paper, inks, stamps and/or embellishments for the project I'm working on, I have my paper trimmer, craft or cutting mat. The only thing besides a lamp that is always on my table is a spinner which holds basic markers and pens, brushes, adhesives, scissors, tweezers. The lower shelves of my table hold some more tools like baby wipes, Cropadile, Xyron, more markers, Spellbinders machine, which are things I get out quite a bit. Lately I've been doing a lot of mixed media and cards, so I have another spinner holder on my table right now with paints, stains, various gels, etc., but I will put that aside when I'm working on scrapbook pages. I don't have many shelves within reach, so I bring things over, then put it back when I'm finished. I try to keep it organized, but it is usually a hot mess by the time I finish a project.

Glue runner. I often have a piece placed JUST right, and if I have to step away to reach for the glue, that piece may tilt, and might not end up where I want it.
Also I like to have my trusty xacto knife and pokey thing withing reach for cutting papers to slip photos underneath, or make a hole for brads or twine. (It is always a good thing to know exactly where the sharp tools are: trust me!
I like that I have 2 counters to work on, so I can have a matt to lay out two pagers, a glass cutting matt and a foam stamping matt all within reach, because when I get an idea, I like to act on it before I forget what I was going to do...

My trimmer.
Scissors.
Liquid glue.
Scotch double sided permanent tape.
Enamel dots.
My stamps (right under my desk)
Black Archival ink.
Everything is on top of my desk, except for the stamps themselves.
I can also reach all of my paper & cardstock, plus my photos from my desk chair.

trimmer, scissors, ruler, pencil, adhesives, black and brown ink are on my desk or right beside it. I craft standing up so everything else is still really easy to get to.

all my scrapbook stuff except my albums are either on my table (I have Michaels cubes for my paper/cardstock) or under/next to it within reach. I have slide over to the desk next to my table to print or use SCAL for my Cricut but otherwise everything is right there.
It helps that I don't have a HUGE stash (although it's not tiny either)

Same as many of you: trimmer, stamp pad and roller stamps, atg, washi, scissors, pens, pocket cards are some of my essentials. I have one large banquet table, but would love another so I could keep my Selphy and typewriter and tablet set up and ready to use.

Trimmer, scissors, adhesive and ruler. I have everything pretty close at hand with most used supplies in my Raskog cart (inks, basic tools, glues glitter & embossing powders etc). My Cameo sits to the right of my work area and my laptop is also nearby.

It helps that I don't have a HUGE stash (although it's not tiny either) Me too! All of my stuff is within an arm's stretch away. I think I would be paralyzed with too much stuff. As it is now, I'm a grab and go girl. I use the first papers that go with my photos. I can add embellishment from there to doll it up, but I refuse to spend a large amount of time trying to find the perfect paper.

I KNOW I would be paralysed with too much stuff - I had to pare down my sewing stuff because it was overwhelming. Yeah - not a perfect paper scrapper here either - I'm fine with 'good enough'

I have a tool bag full of stuff that I always have either on my table or under it with all of my essentials: trimmer (with extra blades), X-Acto knife, piercer, tweezers, scissors (a couple of them actually), a set of chalks, pop dots, glue dots, tape runner, Herma tab dispenser (and an extra roll of tabs), Tombow Mono Multi glue, stapler and staples, black and brown pens, pencil, ruler, eyelet setting tool (though I haven't used eyelets in a while) and a couple small size hole punches. There's probably other stuff in there too that I'm forgetting.

4 things - my trimmer, my adhesive, my scissors and my pen. When I sit down to scrap these are the 4 things I take out of my supply tote. I am going to use those 4 items on nearly every layout.

On my desk is a small tool bin with adhesive (runner, glue dots, foam tape), scissors, stamp scrubber, acrylic mount for stamps, and corner rounder. In arm's reach, though not on my desk surface, are many things - paper trimmer, large ruler, inks, scoring board, cardstock, markers & pens, punches, many stamps, and many embellishments. I have to stand up to reach patterned paper, more stamps, and more embellishments. I have to stand up and take a few steps (horrors! LOL) to use my die-cutters, reference books, and even more stamps. Gee, I think I have a stamp problem. And all this time, I thought it was a patterned paper problem.

From the looks of what's to the right and left of my work space....everything...HA HA HA
And....my 17 x 19 craft mat/workspace ends up being barely 12 x 12 or 6 x 6 half way through the process.

I like having everything at my fingertips when I scrap because I'm never quite sure what I'm going to use on each page until I'm in the thick of it.
