Clothing that you have worn, but plan to wear again before laundering? ( CLean/dIRTY )
Or do you think rewearing without laundering is an abomination?
My clirty clothes are strewn about my bathroom and bedroom floor-- not a good solution.

I hang them back up in the closet. Mostly it is jeans/denim, but once in awhile if I showered late in the day and put on clean clothes for just a few hours, the shirt might get re-worn before washing. Depends on the fabric/ironing requirements/particular item.
I figure if it isn't clean enough to hang up in the closet, it isn't clean enough to re-wear.

I hang them back up in the closet or drape them over the bench in our bedroom. If they end up on the floor they get tossed in the laundry.

Right now, they are hung in the closet. However, it is just coincidence that you asked right now. Last week, there was a huge pile on top of my dresser.

I'm embarrassed to say that jeans usually end up folded on the end of my dresser. Rarely do I have any CLIRTY tops but when I do I hang them, usually it's church clothes I do that with.

I'm a laundry freak. I rarely wear anything more than once, sadly I've taught my kids the same thing. I digress. When I have clirty laundry I lay it over the edge of the bathroom hamper.

I hang my tops back in the closet, my pants get folded and put on top of the hamper (which is in the closet.)

Mine are on the floor of my closet, but in a nice, neat pile.
Drives DH crazy. Like many other things that go along with my indecisive personality. He's always telling me, "Decide already - are they clean or dirty? Just do something with them!"
Sometimes I end up putting them away in drawers or hang them up, sometimes I just grab the whole stack and put it in the wash. Depends on my mood.

I re-hang if I had them on for only a short while and it will be a while before I wear them again. Such as clothes worn to the doctor's, I probably only had them on for about an hour.
Clothes I wore today and plan to wear again tomorrow such as a pair of trousers, they get laid across the back of the chair in my bedroom.
Anything that ends up on the floor goes into the dirty laundry.

Back in the wardrobe but near the front so I know I've worn them and can easily find them again.

Six days out of seven, those clothes are folded on top of my dresser. Really, who has 45 extra seconds in her day to walk to the closest and hang up some clothes? In the summer, I'm doing laundry every day and rotating out a few shabby outfits a week.

I fold them and put them at the edge of my long counter in the bathroom. My husband drapes his over the low wall in the bathroom. They'll sit there for a few days and I'll collect them all and rehang them up or put them in the drawer.

I'm a re-hanger too.
My DH is a lay each item out perfectly flat on the floor kind of guy. Not folded at all so his limit of clirty clothes is about three items before he runs out of floor space on his side of the closet.

They get rehung or placed on a chair in the closet. Clothes on the floor is the universal symbol in my house that means they are dirty and need to be washed.

I live in the humid south so it's rare that I re-wear anything, but when I do I hang the outfit up but don't put it back on the clothing rod. I'll just hook it to a hanger that has a tank top on it.

On the wardrobe door usually, except for jeans that lay over the chair in our bedroom.

I hang them back in the closet [work slacks and jackets] or fold them and put them on top of dresser [jeans]. I don't re-wear tops, socks or undies.

draped over the back of a chair in my room. Once they hit the floor they are dirty, and I can't hang them back up because they'll get all the clean clothes clirty. Most of the time tops go to the laundry. The only time they don't is if I've only worn it a few hours in the evening. These days I'm so sweaty...thank you middle age!

Jeans or pants get hung back up. I hang shirts on a hook on my closet door. Or I put them on the side of the tub (DH hates that)

I have a set of hooks just for that purpose on the small wall in my shoes and accessories closet. I don't like the idea of putting something that I've worn back in the closet next to actual fresh, clean clothes. Jeans that are clirty go there, clirty jammies go there in case I want to wear them again before I take another shower and am ready for clean jammies. Like, if I'm having a jammie day, but I'm forced, for some unholy reason to leave the house for a short time in the middle of my sacred jammie day. The clirty clothes that I wore for that short time period of being forced to leave my house will then go on those hooks too.

I too hang them back up. Jeans are the only thing I wear more than once without washing( if I have been around smokers than they get washed). I don't like clothes lying around. I like a tidy house.

I only rewear jeans everything else goes straight in the laundry basket. Clothes on the floor or hanging around willy nilly drives me nuts.

You know how married people are suppose to fight about money, sex, in-laws.... Uh, yeah. We fight about laundry! (Okay, fight is too strong of a word... snipe is more like it). My DH CANNOT commit to deciding if something is clean or dirty... so he hangs it over the side of the clothes hamper, or lays it across the top. DRIVES.ME.CRAZY!! Just decide already, will ya? Is it clean or is it dirty? ? Can you tell this is a hot button for me? Oh, and to answer your question, I hang everything back up. I wear sweaters, blouses, slacks to work and they definitely do not get washed/dry cleaned every time...

This is not a major category for me because I don't really re-wear most clothes except pajamas and maybe lounge clothes that got worn for an hour or two before bed. I have a little basket in my closet for those things.
