I went through my PeaMails (almost 300!) and sent a PeaMail to pretty much everyone telling them about this forum and asking them to join us.
I posted on my personal FB and the FB page for my podcast (ScrapGals).
I mentioned it in next week's show.
Surely to goodness that'll get just a few people over here. The more people, the more we'll have to talk about, right?
Just thought I would put a bug in your ear about the PeaMail in case you might want to do the same while you still can.
Also, we can still access threads on the GS board at Two Peas. I'm going to start going through some of the threads and Peas that I know post regularly, I'll try to send them a PeaMail.
Can y'all help me spread the word? We're definitely off to a good start and I'm just so happy to be here and thankful to the admin for starting this forum.

I sent a pea mail to everybody in my list,and several are already here. Yeah! After the dust settles and word continues to spread, I think many more will come over .

Just found my way here from a post on Splitcoaststampers..so grateful. I have been so busy since February that I had lost touch with my daily dose of Two Peas and a friend told me Wednesday about the news!! So happy to have this community even if I don't always have the time to check in!

I just got an email from my DD who said Maribeth was looking for me and giving me this link. Thanks, Maribeth! We've missed you on Pokey Peas.
It's so nice to see so many familiar names popping up. Two peas has been my home for 14 years. So sad to see it go poof!

Tracie, have you and Tiffany talked about doing an episode (or a blurb or something) on ScrapGals? Maybe then the two of you could link to this place from your blogs after the show or something. Both of you have been so positive in talking about 2peas on the show and using it as a jumping off point for your conversations, I think people would be glad to hear your perspectives and happy to know y'all are over here.

I want to thank scrapcatz for directing me to this board. It feels so good to see familiar names & faces. I hope to be more involved here if my life allows it. I offered to direct another former pea but she stated she heard of the board. It had not registered yet at the time we communicated. I hope she jumps on the board.

Someone on the Cricut MB posted about this board so I headed right over. Awesome! I have spent hours today and yesterday sending PeaMails but I'm getting weary of it. I just copied and pasted a message with a link here and started going through threads with a lot of replies and sending them to anyone who seemed to have been there a while or that I recognized. If anyone has time, please help me do this until they shut it down! |

Also, if you have a blog, post a link there, too. Weeks, months, years from now a long lost pea will go to the MB to see that it doesn't exist. Hopefully a little googling will bring them to someone's blog with the link. Be sure to say something like "Two Peas in a Bucket Closed. But the Peas have started their own message board to keep in touch. You can find it at this link" or whatever. Hopefully the search engines will direct them here!

Yes, I went through old peamails and some message board posts and sent the link to the site to quite a few people too. I have had a few people link me to other alternate sites, but I really just want to concentrate on this one, getting the band back together instead of having us scattered all over the place.

I contacted the four I had in my peamail, two were recent, but two were a couple of years old...not sure if they were still on or not.
I received an email from Paperclipping about them having had started a message board, maybe we have peas who went there.

Found the new site after the email came out and I searched... Knew we would all regroup somewhere! Haven't posted much to 2P's in the past year, but a member since 2007! Nice to see a new space:)
