You never "Cease" to amaze me. (pun not originally intended but changed when reread in my head) They are both amazing. The first is so heartfelt. freebird could you "borrow back" the last painting and make prints of it, too, for your sis?
I have a copy of the original so I can make copies for anyone that wants it. Actually, I already gave out several after the Christmas "incident". lol

As always, I am in awe of your talent. Your painting of your dad is fabulous. My dad was a big guy like that, too. Your family will be thrilled with it.

Both are gorgeous!
Your father's image has quite an emotional feeling to it. (I'm not good at explaining it) You did a fantastic job capturing him.

Beautiful paintings. And so thoughtful and kind to make sure everyone gets a print and including the detail about your uncle.

I love your still life paintings but I'm partial to your portraits. They evoke such emotions and feelings - fabulous work!
Technically this was only my 9th portrait!
Thank you everyone for the kind comments!
Well, you've got "it" ... the ability to paint people and capture emotions. It truly isn't something that a lot of artists can accomplish. Please keep sharing your work
