I haven't been on this thread in days. I have missed you all. After I sat and thought about it, I realized that I have a legitimate reason. Work. I am sure you are not surprised. But last night, i tried to remember my last day off. It was when I was on vacation, June 5. Oooooooooops!!!! Admittedly, on weekends, sometimes I only work two to five hours per day, especially on Sundays. But I still work. Last week, I took a friend to a bday late lunch and then for pedis. That was a nice break. But I worked before she came and after she left. As for dinner tonight, the kids are eating Burger King. And tomorrow night, they are eating Sam's pizza. I am getting popcorn at some point. On the high recommendation of Newlywoods, I am also going to see The Secret Life of Pets, complete with popcorn. I am not sure what I am eating tonight. But I will not go hungry, that's for sure. Lisa

I heated up a can of mushroom soup. That's right a can of mushroom soup.
I feel a little better than yesterday but not by much. Food is not a high priority right now.
DH found something to make him happy, I guess, he isn't complaining.

We are having a multigrain blend from Trader Joe's with added grilled chicken sausages (leftovers), carrots and broccolini. Tuscan tuna salad sounds interesting Trixie Bender - do you have a recipe?

Y'all...I have a confession...I made brownies and ate them for dinner. Not just one either.

I have an appointment today in Anchorage, so you know what that means.....I will hit Costco on my way home and get one of Lucy's famous rotisserie chickens!!!
I might turn it into Chicken Curry Salad served with a big flat slice of tomato and red onion on a croissant! Or, if I am too tired when I get back we will just eat the chicken and a bagged salad. That sounds good! Do you have a recipe for your chicken curry salad? It's not really a recipe as much as throwing stuff in a bowl until it looks good.
I use shredded rotisserie chicken grapes (either red or green) a couple stalks of celery mayo with about a teaspoon of curry powder mixed in. (although it depends on how much you are making) a little salt, garlic powder, and cayenne powder.
Mix it all together and served on a croissant with lettuce, red onion, and a fat slice of tomato.
It's also good with pecans or almonds mixed in but I didn't have any this time.
