I'm ready to buy a fibit - do I just get the basic one or do a more expensive one? I have no clue which one to buy.

This is the one that I have Fitbit One. I really love it. Before that I had the Fitbit Ultra and only changed to this one because I kept breaking the little clip. The clip for the One is a lot more durable. I can't stand anything tight, so the ones that you wear on your wrist would drive me crazy. I have been using Fitbit for over two years now and would really miss if, If I no longer had one.

so you just clip it on your clothes? It's probably not as noticeable as the wrist band one. I worry about it looking unprofessional at work.

I have the fitbit one as well. I love it. I tried the wrist ones, but it kept breaking and I went through three of them before I finally got fed up. With the fitbit one, I just clip it on my bra. I don't even notice it's there.

I worry about it looking unprofessional at work. My work gave everyone a wrist band fit bit and had a walking challenge. Everyone from the top guy on down wears theirs everyday. I like the One because it also counts floors in addition to the steps and distance. It also has a digital screen, so I don't have to log in to see my exact numbers for the day. I can just press the button. The wristband only has dots that light up if you get to 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% or 100% of your goal.

I have a Flex with a lime green small band which I really love. It's made me really aware f how much I move and I link it with the app, "My Fitness Pal," and it's been a huge help in helping me take better care of myself.
However , the green band is really sporty and I can't wear my pretty brackets. If I had to do it all over again , I would buy a Fitbit One because you can clip it on to your bra and it's not this huge ann meet that you have a Fitbit on!
I do think it's worth the money although I wish I had found The One before I bought my flex.

Does Fitbit One give you an accurate result? I have one but trying to figure out how it would work? Do I need to be connected to a computer or something to do this?

I have the fitbit zip for almost two years, the cheapest option. It just does steps, distance and calorie burn not flights of stairs or sleep patterns. I've been very happy with it. I wear it on my bra.

Also the zip has a display for instant stats and it just takes a button cell battery so you don't have to charge it. The battery last about 3-4 months.

I have the Flex bracelet and love it. I've got a neutral band and it's not too noticeable, I wear other bracelets and it "blends". I don't do all the bells and whistles, so migh have been able to get by with a differnt version.
I've learned seeing on my wrist helps motivate me. Apparently I am a simple person!

You can read your stats on the Fitbit One, or you set it up through your computer to update when you get close, or you can download the Fitbit app on an iPhone or Android. The app is how I check mine most of the time.

I have the Flex and I really enjoy the extra push it gives me to move.

So glad you asked this! I'm in the market for one this weekend. I was going to go with the bracelet, but now I'm leaning toward the One.

I've had the One for almost 2 years and love it. I clip it to the pocket of my pants or the waistband of my workout shorts or pants. I prefer the to the wristbands because it's less visible. I also like all the different things it can track, as compared to the wrist versions. It's very accurate as far as step counting but I've found it's not quite as accurate where distance is concerned. Maybe my stride just varies too much. But I use a GPS app (RunKeeper) to track mileage, and don't worry about it. ?

After washing my Fitbit One about 46 times, I finally went with the Flex. I really like it and I've got multiple wristbands. Except I lost it somewhere. I think my DD took it.

I have the One and I really like it too. I have heard the One is more accurate than the flex.
ETA: As far as price, the One and the Flex are the same price, $99.99 The Zip is $59.99 but has less features. No stairs and no sleep tracking. Also has a different battery that you replace, whereas the One and Flex you recharge on your computer.

I am on my 3rd Flex. I do like them but the little bit part of Fitbit is hard to keep track of if you aren't wearing it. It can and does fall out sometimes...

I have the One. I keep it clipped to my waistband. I didn't want to wear a bracelet-type because I didn't want to wear something sporty-looking when I'm dressed up for church or whatever. With the One I can clip it onto my clothes and it's not noticeable.

I've been considering buying one over the past few weeks. I can't decide between the Flex and the One. I've looked at the on-line comparison charts between the two, and besides the obvious bracelet vs. clip-on style the display on the One seems to offer more information. Without having a Fitbit and being able to see info on the app, is one better than the other as far as information accessibility?

I have had the One fie over a year. . I prefer it to the flex because it is hidden. I wear jewelry a lot and didn't want to give that up. I wear the One clipped to my bra. I wear it 24/7 and have never had a problem with washing ior misplacing it. I like wearing it at night for the alarm plus the sleep analysis altho I don't always use that part. I monitor it through the app on my iPhone and love how it keeps me motivated to move more.

I have the One and I love it! I didn't want the wristband to show everyday so I like that the One can be clipped to my bra and no one sees it. I have the app on my phone and will sometimes check throughout the day to see how I am doing. I wear mine everyday. The only time I take it off is if I am swimming or riding in the boat. Apparently the motion in the boat really throws off the step count and I end up with way more steps than I took.

I've had the FitBit Zip and now I have the FitBit One. I find them to both be very accurate with step count. I wear it either clipped in my bra or on my side and see no difference in accuracy. I like the FitBit One better because I didn't like buying batteries for the Zip. I like that I can charge the FitBit One.

I have the Flex and I love it. I don't have to worry about losing it because it fell off and I can wear it while doing dishes, swimming and in the shower. As far as looking professional goes, there are TONS of different colors available on Amazon and I recently received an email from Fitbit showing new, fancy/dressier looking bracelets. Tory Burch bands Yikes...some are pricey, but not all.

I have the zip and love it. I clip in my cleavage. The batteries last a long time. I would hate to have to charge it continually.

I always clip mine to my pocket or waistband and I have to check every little bit to be sure that it is still there. That is how unnoticeable it is to wear that way. There have been a couple of times in the past two+ years that it came off. Once when I was working in the yard (carrying bags of mulch) and once when I was riding in the backseat of the car with 4 little dogs. (Yeah, that was fun ) It stays clipped most of the time. I am not sure where it is being clipped on the bra. Either location would probably work.
