10 yards of Alexander Henry fabric to make Hawaiian or Aloha shirts. Hopefully i don't burn out before I finish because I wawant to make 7 different shirts, some for dh and some for the kids. I have 1 cut out so far...then if I'm lucky I'll order 12 more yards of a different fabric for the last 3 shirts. I of course procrastinated and the fabric I wanted went out of stock so today had been calling around to find it and did :-)

I'm at the mall. Bath and Body has 75% off clearance. Which means the $5 lotions are $1.25 apiece. I bought 35!! For gifts for women's retreat or dinners and stuff we do. They had sweet pea and warm vanilla sugar on clearance in this size. They had raspberry in the larger size. I went to smell it and ended up with lotion all over my lips! Can't take me anywhere. 😂

I just got home from the biggest shopping trip I've had this year. I bought presents for DH's, my BFF's and my nieces birthdays, gift wrap, crickets for the gecko, and a pair of navy tapered leg trousers, a pair of purple gardening gloves and a new dark green watering can for myself.

Today I had to buy some saline for a wound dressing. Did you know you now have to get a RX to buy saline?! I guess there is some nefarious use for the stuff and it's difficult to come by over the counter.
In case anyone is curious as to why someone would need saline...I had a little surgery back in June and there was one place where some stitches came out too early and the wound is not healing well. I have to put wet/dry dressings on it for about a week. The doctor thinks that the area will heal on its own and NOT require any more stitches. WHEW!

The last thing I bought besides groceries was a maple tree for our yard.
My sister is coming for a visit in a couple of weeks so I have been saving my pennies so we can go wild when she is here!

I purchased several items at Amazon yesterday. Greenies for my dog's dental health, bird seed for my front porch bird watching amusement and a black light to check for dog stains on my carpet. They are housebroken and I seldom find evidence of accidents but I am paranoid about my house smelling like dog so I hope this helps me find any missed spots as soon as they happen. My DD thinks I'm crazy and she may be right!

I'm about to buy a donut from the donut truck. There are donut trucks somewhere? I have never heard of this. It is probably a good thing we dont have one or my daughter would be buying donuts daily

I didn't buy anything on Prime day. I didn't see anything I needed. I did order the wash clothes, glue dots, Star Wars coloring book, pencils snd sharpener for my son on Monday and some keurig pods from Costco this morning.

I was going to say yesterday's Instant Pot deal, but I also just ordered Blue Spa body cream (buy 2, get 1 free) and lemon-y kitchen hand soap (normally $6.50 ea, but buy 4 for $20) from Bath & Body Works, plus I used a 20% off coupon from retailmenot! I'm spent!

On Prime Day, I got a bunch of Jackerys and several Bose SportsSound headphones for Christmas presents. I bought a new pair of Asics Gel runners for myself. Other than that, I scarred my 14 y/o son for life when I ended up making him go bra shopping with my 92 y/o mama and I. She needed a lot of help getting around the racks and reaching various choices. He was thrilled to be there, let me tell you. My favorite moment was when he bent over to reach something for her and came up at eye level with a 54FF bra. He was slightly pale and very speechless.

Sturdy new work shoes for my husband.. yippee! But just before that I bought another lens for my new Nikon D3300. Finally.. a decent camera. The camera came with 2 kit lenses but now I'll be saving up for a better zoom lens and a macro lens. Fun but expensive.

Nothing from Amazon.
I bought a tunic length oatmeal colored open weave cardigan from a shop at the Biltmore estate last week. I had been looking for something like it for a long time so it probably seemed to my cousins who were shopping with me that I was impulsive but I wasn't. One of my cousins wanted to go in this shop and my first thought when I saw the stuff was "Ugh, this is sports gear (fishing hats and shirts), I won't find anything here." So glad I was wrong.

For the most part you will need to go at least 15" and probably more likely 17" to get both a burner and a number pad on a laptop. My husband is independent IT, so I'm around this stuff every day. Be sure to pay attention to the processor in the laptop. That's where they get you with a "cheap" laptop that sounds so good for the price. They usually have crappy processors and don't last and work very slow. Thank you. I must have a 10-key (I'm an accountant) - I was thinking I wanted at least a 15" - I'll remember to pay attention to the processor. When I needed a new laptop, I wanted a smaller one, but I didn't want to lose the 10 key. I got an HP Stream laptop for everyday web surfing and stuff, and just got a USB 10 key pad to use with it. It works great.
