I had lunch with a friend on Monday and then when he went back to work (I was off) I stayed in town and had a little splurge. I bought this Mimco handbag:
Which was reduced from $450 to $190. The day before I bought two of those flameless/LED candles from Pottery Barn, they were 20% off, still a bit pricey but I've wanted two for a specific spot in my lounge for a while now so I finally took the plunge.

Paint roller handle. I know I have one around here, but, of course, I couldn't find it this morning.

annabella love the dress! scentcrazy which perfume did you decide on? Yesterday for lunch I loved the feel of the linen tank and cardigan set my mom just purchased for me from JJill so when I got home I logged on to get another set. Then I took advantage of a sale to buy that, 2 more outfits and a bracelet! So naturally, Zappo's was next to buy some sandals to go with my new outfits.

I went all out and bought a 2 pack of Hanes comfy shorts for $12 from Amazon yesterday. Then I really went wild and bought a package of individual sherbert cups for our freezer. It was a spending frenzy yesterday.

From where? I'd love to get that shirt. It was a gift from my mom, but it is a Life is Good shirt and I pulled the image from their website so if you can't find it at a local place that sells that brand, you can get it on their website. (I find that this style of their shirts runs a little small across the chest so if you are a busty girl, you may want to consider going up a size.) Love this. Other than their website, do you know what stores carry it ? I would like it soon. Thanks so much.

Life is Good is a pretty popular brand, so I am sure that wherever you are, there will be someone who sells it. I checked my location and there were multiple stores, and I know for a fact that there are several more that weren't listed. Try here: life is good store locator

Cheap flip flops. I've been walking around Manhattan on wedge sandals today (what was I thinking?) and my toes were screaming in pain. So I got the cheapest pair of sandals I could find in Duane Reade. They only had size 5-6, but I'm making it work.
Went to to see Waitress, which we enjoyed.

Literal last thing: on way home- Chicken Fries from BK drive through for DS -he LOVES those things-now he loves me! today- Joanns - scrapbook paper pads/stacks. Because I don't have quite enough paper to sink a barge yet! Good deal though. $19.99 pads were on sale for $9.99 and today-only coupon was 60% regular OR Sale priced paper pads/stacks. So after coupon $19.99 pads were $4!!! Got a few 6x6 pads, too which cost next to nothing. Got some for me and for gifts of my peeps that still scrapbook. On Amazon: 2 textbooks for DD upcoming semester in college. Kindle Fire-gift for DS unless he doesn't want, then for ???someone else... a small canvas messenger bag link and (just in case) an ultraviolet flashlight/stain and pet urine detector- total impulse buy as DD19 is adopting a cat after her recent loss of her also adopted BFF kitty of 15-16 years

I went shopping yesterday and bought new pants for work, jean capris, curling iron and some cosmetic stuff for my upcoming trip.
The curling iron was an impulse buy. I've been watching too many youtube videos... I am not even sure will it work with my hair!

I bought a pair of Clarks sandals today. They were so expensive. But my feet are weird. They swell terribly and it's to the point my running shoes are giving me blisters from chafing. My feet hurt all the time. At various shoe stores I've tried keens, merrel, sketcher, and a few more. None have expansion room for swelling. I desparately needed something. But they are definitely way more than the budget can afford. I really hope I don't regret it. The store only had the brilliant coral in stock so I ordered the black to come in. I'm having serious buyers remorse.

I bought New Balance running shoes and compression stockings and socks. They feel like a very comfortable bra for your feet and calves. I quite like them!

We've bought a lot of stuff this week - dh is on vacation and we took the kids shopping yesterday at the outlets after we were done at the beach. I bought the kids some school clothes/supplies. I got dd and ds a pair of American Eagle jeans for $25 each. Other dd I got her a pair of jeans at Aero for $12.99. I got dd a backpack from Under Armour for $40 (normally $65) and other dd bought a pair of shoes there. She got the best deal...a pair of sneakers that were normally $65 she got for $23!!

Bocce Ball set. A local gift shop has their outdoor games on clearance already. Plenty of time left in the season to play.

Supplies for my classroom: Colorful binder clips I wrapped in coordinating washi tape. Storage boxes for guided reading supplies. Stickers (those 3D motion style ones) for welcome to my classroom postcards and storage boxes. Pipe cleaners and address labels I used to make a math center this afternoon. Shades of blue $1 store duct tape to label my supplies and make a "do not sharpen past" mark on my pencils. Plastic cones that I can put at a students spot when they do a great job. Hand sanitizer that we use a dot of for good behavior (super smellys)-we also use a dot of fun Chapstick on their hand for the same thing. It is a Big DEAL to them to earn a smelly

I bought a warehouse sale box from October Afternoon, a portable ping-pong table set, and some fabric bins to corral the Lego pieces that DS likes to keep downstairs rather than in his room.
