Just saw this on Pinterest. Hadn't bought of it before. I kind of like the way it looks before it is painted too. I was thinking you could do it on the top half (or even a mat of) a layout.

And painting would be a hassle.
But did anyone else notice where it was pinned from? Are Fiskateers still up and going? I remember when they first were years ago, and I joined and was sent a free pair of scissors. It had to be a decade or more ago, because I remember when I lived when I got them, and I only lived there for a couple of years before moving again.

I did something very similar once to a album title page for my DDs school album. LOVED IT!

I was thinking it would be a good background for a school LO also...and I like it better before it was painted, but I can see painting it if the colors didn't coordinate as well as the ones in the pic seem to.

I could see painting and then cutting in a shape for a card or a mixed media project, too.
