Well, your guess is as good as mine. I'm thinking it might be our weekly taco night. My non-picky ds is going to be at work. So, that leaves my picky eater and dh. I'll post my dinner plan later.
What's on your menu?
Have a great Friday everyone.

The plan is salmon, corn, and a salad. As always, these plans are subject to change the closer we get to the dinner hour.

We had nacho platters earlier today, so I guess the answer is "nothing". Just some sandwiches later, I guess.

DH and I went out for BBQ last night and brought home tons of leftovers so we'll have that plus a salad or two.

I think I'm going to have the eggplant that I planned to serve on Tuesday. And, I'm hoping to get a good water report tomorrow so that I can drink water and not worry about laundry.

I'm going to take the 7yo for a haircut after I pick him up at day camp, and then I think we'll go to the supermarket afterwards and he can help me choose what's for dinner. I'm pretty sure corn on the cob will be involved. Also maybe fish sticks or his new love, cheeseburgers? I need to pick up more veggies, too.

Grilled flat iron steak, fresh picked corn on the cob, twice baked potatoes and some rolls. Or some "everything" italian bread I picked up. Debating the salad also. Baking right now Ghiradelli brownies for dessert.

I'm struggling!! Didn't have breakfast and went out with Dad for lunch - I don't often have a large lunch, but had steak & ale pie with chips (thick french fries!!) and vegetables. This was almost 8 hours ago and the thought of food just makes me feel ill, but I know I'll wake up feeling sick if I have nothing!! Oh, did I mention, I hardly have any food in the house? The one night a bit of fruit would be PERFECT and I don't have any in!!

Lots of good stuff above my post!
I am about to make blueberry muffins. We'll also have chicken strips, stir-fried broccoli, and steamed rice medley. Or maybe just six blueberry muffins each with melted butter on top.
Thanks for the thread. Hoping you all have a lovely weekend.

It's SO's daughter's birthday today, so it's her pick where we are going out to dinner. She hasn't made a decision, but last I heard it Chili's is in the running.

Going to a potluck BBQ tonight. My hostess is providing ribs and baked beans. I'm bringing blue cheese coleslaw and a pack of White Claw Hard Seltzer.

My oldest has VBS tonight from 6-7? The whole family can come.. see what's been going on, hear the songs and watch the photo slideshow.
Dinner will be something quick and easy. Maybe grilled cheese? Not quite sure.

You know how sometimes you think you have it all under control, start dinner and then realize you are missing a fairly key ingredient? That was me tonight. Decided I was going to have spaghetti tonight. The boy was going to be home and he loves spaghetti. I start by chopping and browning veggies (onions, peppers, mushrooms.) I move the veggies out of the pan and go to grab the ground turkey. Oh wait. I don't have any. So it was veggie spaghetti. Delicious (if I do say so myself) but no meat. Bless the poor boy, he didn't even notice.

Raley's has 12 ears for $5. I knew that. ha One thing I LOVE about Raley's is that you don't have to buy the total amount on special. So many stores would make you buy 12 ears to get the discount. Not so at Raley's. I know that you know that too!

Meat pies and home fries with green and yellow beans. It's finally cool enough to use the oven again, thank goodness.
