Is it best to go the pre-order route, wait and order when it's in stock somewhere or what do you do? Scrapbook Steals has so many of the new releases for sale so quickly that I kind of want to hold out for a bargain but at the same time I don't want to miss out!

ACOT has 20% off pre-orders right now.
Use code PREORDER to save 20% off the regular price of all Pre-Order products, no minimum purchase necessary. (Excludes non-pre-order products.) This promotion may not be combined with other codes. Valid for a limited time only.
I sometimes go the pre-order route, but then run the risk of doubling up on product that I get through my kit club or find at a discount somewhere, especially for Christmas product. I'm still thinking about Autumn, though. Might pre-order some of that.

Steals usually has deals on Carta Bella, Simple Stories, Bo Bunny and others, so I often get items there, especially if I'm looking for a collection pack. I already ordered CB Autumn. For lines that I'm just going to get a few pieces of paper or embellishments, I'll probably order from A Cherry on Top or Scrapbook.com. For those sites I wait for sales on product and/or shipping and combine my order with inks, stamps, tools, etc. I collect it all and play around with my order to see the optimum product vs. shipping cost and discounts. It's a scientific process. Sadly, even though I have some great LSSs not too far away, they usually don't carry everything I want so I just don't go much. I do sometimes preorder, but then you have to wait for everything, or pay higher shipping for a small shipment. It's usually not necessary.

I like to wait for Paper Issues, because they always have the 20% off code, and I feel I'm supporting a smaller business. ACOT shipping to Canada is utter nonsense/rubbish. Scrapbook.com would be my 2nd choice... if I *really* like a line I will buy it at whichever of those I see it first!

I like to pre-order from ACOT, 20% off new releases doesn't happen often at SB. Besides, by pre ordering I don't have to worry about things selling out.
I've ordered from Paper Issues in the past, but not for new releases, they never seem to get all the new stuff in that I want. ACOT almost always does. I just wish they'd pre sell AC products, but I totally get why they don't.

In the UK, Hey Little Magpie is where I'll go. Sometimes we get it before the US even has it which is amazing! I remember the old days when we had to wait months after the US had everything before it would arrive to the UK and it was so annoying to watch all the pictures of people's creations appear online, and we couldn't get the products. Times have changed for the better, wooo!!!

So far I've only placed a small pre-order for Addison and Alex from ACOT. I will be placing a much larger order for Pebbles Warm & Cozy when it becomes available for pre-sale. Hoping to stay strong and keep my spending in check.

I like to see it in person, luckily my LSS is pretty good about carrying most of the new stuff.

I miss having a LSS if I order it is usually with ACOT or Bluemoon. It is becoming harder to find whole collections in just one store, I had to order from 3 different sites to get Pink Paisley travel line.

This depends on how quickly my favourite Australian online shop gets the collections I want...I will probably get Shimelle's new line from either Paper Issues or scrapbook.com. ACOT has INSANE international shipping charges...and I refuse to buy from them anymore unless it is an emergency. If my Australian online shop gets things in and gets them quickly I will order from her, so for my secondary collections I can order from her. My LSS has actually just closed so I can't go there anymore...BOO!

Probably my LSS. I like to see paper in person. We are lucky enough to have a LSS close to us. There are 3 more a few hours away. They each tend to cater to different styles of scrapbookers, so hopefully if one doesn't stock what I like, I can look somewhere else. I have had collections put away for me when they arrive, so I don't miss out if I am not in town the week they get there.

Whatever I don't receive in kits, I usually get online from Paper Issues or from my local craft supply store.
I tend not to preorder, given horror stories in the past of money spent and product taking forever to arrive.

Scrapbook.com or simon says are my go to USA stores, cause their shipping internationally is pretty good. Otherwise, I wait and get it from a local online store

A Cherry on Top is great about carrying the newest lines. I will also check out my local scrapbook store in Kent WA called Running with Scissors.
