Here are some cards where I used two different embossing folders for the background.

Hiya, Ginger! Fab cards! Stupid question: double embossing as in double faux letterpress with two different colors? or swiping the ink pad across? Either way, love the results - must try this Thanks!

Thanks!
I inked a folder, embossed through my Big Shot, let it dry. Then did the same thing again with another folder. The hardest part was finding 2 folders that would look good together!

Great cards. I have never tried that technique but now I want to give it a try.
Hope mine turn out as nice as yours. Thanks for the nudge.
ETA: Are they embossed or debossed?

I embossed them. Ink your background folder, run it through your machine. Ink the top image and run that through.
The hardest part was looking at my folders to see what would work together.

That looks really cool! Have you ever done just plain embossing with the background with the colored embossing on top? I'm thinking like polka dots in the background with snowflakes over top might look like a snow storm! Now I'm going to have to try it...

Your cards are lovely CeeScraps. Thanks for sharing. I'd better check my folders for what to pair.
