I confess... I love washi tape and have an abundance. How do your store yours? I have mine just thrown in bins, but that isn't very practical because I literally have to dig to find what I want to use. Would love a better way to access and display them? Thanks,

I have mine in two clear plastic hinged boxes from the Container store.
One contains basic patterned washi, sorted by color. The other has the washi for Christmas, Halloween, with words, etc.
It makes it really easy to find what I want. I have to stop buying, though. I am running out of space.
Oh, and specific to a collection - like OA's Treasure Map, stays with the collection.

I keep mine on the outer ring of a large wooden embroidery hoop. I bought the hoop at Walmart for under $3.
(I have more washi on it now, and still have tons of room.)
I hang my "washi wreath" on the wall above my desk.

I have mine in big fancy glass confectionery jars but they really need a good dust. I never use my washi tape, I'm useless!

I made stands for mine by repurposing wooden cotton reels and adding unused dowel sticks from my Martha Stewart ribbon boxes to the centre. I have 3 of them standing in front of me on my desk. I like them because they don't take up much room.

For the time being, the majority of mine are sorted by color and lined up in a 12 x 12 Iris box. I do keep the Christmas ones with my Christmas stuff, kids designs with my kids stuff, etc.

But actually, my jar is one made to serve beverages--I just turn the spout to the wall. I do use my tape quite a bit whenever I need tape. And I'll decorate shipping labels when I send packages or I'll decorate an envelope when mailing something. And I use it to tape vinyl to my cutting mat for my Cameo.

In a K cup storage drawer. Me too... but it's full and I don't want to buy another one... I think I should just start using up what I've got... Then again, I guess I could say that about a lot of things I'm hoarding...

I just have mine all tossed in a clear plastic container. I have looked/dreamed about all the pretty ways to store not only Washi tape but other goodies but I know myself..... If it's not easy to use (ie., open the lid and toss), I'll never use it. The plastic container is easy to grab and paw through!

I have mine in my IKEA Alex cabinet drawer (only one). The tall cabinet. It is the perfect size. They are color coordinated and they do move around if I remove too many at once, but no big deal. I just put them back into place. In only happens once in a while.

I keep mine in two places -- the most frequently used tapes are in a cake pan/loaf pan on a nearby bookshelf (so that I can grab it easily and quickly) and the less frequently used tapes are in a Rosie the Riveter lunch pail (making it easier to stack other things on/under it in my wee corner of a scrap space). Back when I was a bit more organized, I hung my favorites from a JBS key ring rack.

I love how I have mine stored. They have been this way since 2013. I have much more now and more spools and they look so pretty in my room. Also, you do not have to remove them when using them. I just pull pieces directly from the spool. My complete post about this storage method can be found here: triplethescraps.blogspot.com/2013/01/organizational-friday-washi-tape.html

mine is all tossed in an old colander I bought at a garage sale. it's definitely a PITA to dig through, bit since I never actually use any of it, I'm ok with that.
I used to have them hanging on a little wire tree thingie but I don't have room for it now.

I have mine in a couple of stackable recollections desktop caddies. I keep my most often used ones in those and the rest are on a 3 dowel ribbon holder. I love washi tape but have obviously not collected as much as some of you! Attachments:

I have mine stored in those plastic drawers. It is all categorized by subject. Then each subject is color coded. It is very fast and easy for me to retrieve. I use a lot of washi tape.
