On Pinterest, why do people post, "Please follow me on my fitness journey"? It is so common. Are they making money off of having so many followers?
I hate the spam on Pinterest. It is always the same sites being linked. I wish the owners would just ban any links going to those sites.

I've never seen those or noticed the same sites are being linked to. Are these people you follow, or are you seeing this in the general Pinterest feeds?

I haven't seen it on Pinterest but it happens a lot in Instagram and its annoying!

I see it all the time- if you look at the Popular board you will see examples. It is in the comments below the pictures. Below Fifteen is and example a site they are frequently linking to.
