Things you would find at Comic Con. I would particularly love any BB-8 (Star Wars) stickers or papers that have colors that would go well with BB-8. I found a converse shoe type of die cut on the Cricut Paisley cartridge for the 10th doctor (I think!) from Doctor Who. By luck, I found some Spiderman, Ironman, and Wolverine washi tape on clearance at a book store! I have an old 8x8 boy themed DCWV paper pad with some super hero themed items. Also medieval type of embellishments. I have lots of papers that are older looking that will work fine. I know I don't need to do the pages theme-ie, but that's how my mind works. This is BB-8

I have to use my Silhouette for many of these things. They are difficult to find. Sometimes Michaels has stickers of some of the comics.

I know my HL has a star wars paper pad. can't remember if the newest characters are in it or not, as all I'm ever interested in is C3PO (and try finding stuff for the unpopular droid!).
not sure if that's any help

For Doctor Who, depending on The Doctor, you could use leather (black ~ 9th; brown ~ War Doctor), 3D glasses and the Converse (10), a fez (11), or a guitar (12).

Thank you for all your responses. I didn't think to check scrap your trip. After seeing some of the Harry Potter stuff, I forgot I have Halloween costumes I need to scrap too!
ETA: I don't have a silhouette but have a cricut with SCAL software. I'll search for images.

refugeepea I went back and reread your op and I see you were looking for medieval embellishments. My son does medieval live action role play and I find lots of stuff. I especially like to use washi, ribbon or stickers with crowns, flourishes, and fleur de lis. If you have a Michael's, AC Moore, Hobby Lobby or even Walmart you can find these themes. I have also bought ribbon at Joann with these themes on them. Also you can use some of the grunge rock or rock and roll or steam punk themes that have wings, flourishes, etc. I also use silver thickers to look like armor, I use arrows, and also enamel dots that look like rivets.

Hobby Lobby has a Star Wars paper pad. I thought I saw BB-8 in it. I remember JoAnn's awhile back had DC comics paper. There is a new line of charms at Hobby Lobby that are different superheroes. I got Harry Potter paper at JoAnn's one time. I saw a Harry Potter scrapbook kit at Michael's.
DCWV used to be really good about themes for paper. I have bought some beautiful medieval papers from DCWV. I got the Immortal Love collection which was based on Twilight.
If you have an electronic cutter or good at paper piecing by hand look at the coloring books. There is an even an adult Doctor Who coloring book now. Dollar Tree has a cute Star Wars coloring book with a few BB-8 pictures.
I know this is a bit quirky but I buy trading cards and use them as Project Life cards. I have Supernatural, Magic the Gathering, etc....
If you have a Cricut Explore there are Marvel superheroes in their store. Silhouette Cameo use to have DC. ProvoCraft has DC cartridges. I know they have Batman & I think Superman.
Hope that helps.
