E.B. Beatty, PhD. It's been a year since I cleaned your ransacked unit, sans any towels or linens & found a text on your phone that said "She got mad" even though you didn't text.
Per your wishes, remaining items were donated as follows: the organ, artwork, plants etc. went to New Hope; clothes & costume jewelry to agencies that benefit women; furniture & household goods to charity; educational materials to the HBCU library; other media to the public library. Your illegally towed Taurus was sold at auction before you died.
I wish you'd told us of your 1950's Pi Gamma Mu, Inc. induction, the 1965 Dallas County United Fund Award, the 1968 Who's Who In Texas citation; the 1990's G.E. Elfin & WAVE S.T.E.P. awards for volunteerism, the 2004 Zion Gospel Chorus 40th Anniversary Appreciation Award, the A.M.E.N. Ministry Award that cites Proverbs 31 as well as a Bridge Builder Award from 1st Congregational Methodist Church. I also didn't know you actually published a kid's book. I'm so proud of your accomplishments about which I was unaware.
Finally, I now know why your personality changed. Vicodin & Percocet don't play well with Lisinopril & other prescription meds. The good news is that you're now pain free & in Jesus' arms. Daughter I - ======================= How sad, but I hope this "obit" makes the family feel better. My guess is that her odd behavior before her death left everyone drained when she died. Cleaning the home made the family know their mother HAD value in her life and was a worthy person. I'm glad the daughter found the mother that was (IMO) the real person. I'm sad the end of her life was not so good.
