Anyone have any suggestions? I am noticing some breakage around my temples.
Thanks.

How often do you heat style? If you're getting breakage a heat protecting spray is too little too late imo.
That sounded horribly snarky, sorry. I used to straighten every day till I noticed the condition of my hair was awful, I now only do it maybe once a week. I use Andrew Barton Miracle Oil to protect my hair and I don't mind that it's a little bit kinky these days.

My hair dresser sold me a Paul Mitchell product for heat protecting my hair. She thinks my hair is in great condition. I don't straight iron it a lot. I use it all the time and it protects my hair well, I think. It comes in a big bottle and you don't use a ton of it.

Oh, I know it is a little too late for the breakage I have seen. I am wanting to protect it going forward. I use the flat iron on average twice a week.

Keratin Complex Repair Therapy, Ionic Protein Restructuring Serum. Good stuff. It definitely helps my hair, and I flat iron at least the ends almost daily.

I tried an expensive one (can't remember which), L'Oreal, Chi, and Tresemmee (sp?). I like the Tresemme one the best. It leaves my hair feeling really soft.

I like the uv oil from bumble and bumble. I cringed at the price but it ended up lasting months longer than the cheaper alternatives.

I would recommend TRESemme Keratin Smooth, the flat iron smoothing spray, I think it was around $5. It smells great and works!
I've tried others that were much more expensive, the Bumble and Bumble, the drybar one, and some other pricey ones. They worked but I think TRESemme works much better and it's much cheaper.

I also use the TRESemme one mentioned above - Keratin Smooth. Works great.

I use a serum before I dry my hair instead of a spray when it's dry. I love Moroccan Oil or Silk Therapy. Enjoy also makes a good one.

I use Daily Keratin by Keratin Express...it's a green bottle/gold lid.
Make sure your heat setting isn't too high as well. I had some breakage after increasing the heat for awhile. I was trying to straighten too much hair at once with a higher heat setting. Lower heat and smaller sections and I've noticed my hair is much better!

I use THIS in addition to THIS I've found it's made a huge difference in my hair. Leaves it's silky soft with a lot less breakage.
