I'm on my second iPhone....DH and DS had iPods before the iPhones. I have no music on my iPhone. With the other iPhone I had, I could listen to Pandora or iHeart radio, but on this new phone, neither of those work.
So tonight I sat down and said dagnabbit, I'm going to freaking figure out iTunes all by myself. I guess I had an account because I am able to download apps onto my phone. I figured out how to log on to my laptop to the same i-whatever account I use on my phone. I loaded a $25 iTunes gift card. I figured out how to search for songs and I decided to be patient when I saw the option to add songs to my wish list. And I purposely picked songs I know we don't have on cds, because I know DH loaded all our cd's on to his iTunes, so once I figure my own out, I'll try to go to his and take some songs from there.
But now I can't find my wish list and I don't know how to get the songs!!!

I will remind you of my post a while back admitting to throwing my phone and frightening my dogs in a tantrum resulting from iTunes frustration.

Honestly I would look into why Pandora or I Heart isn't working. That is just strange. Any iPhone should be able to run those with no issues. Good Luck.

Ha! I'm currently pouting and hiding from the 43yo and three 13yos who tried to "help" me by changing my screensaver picture from my cute little doggy to an up close shot of one of the punk ass bitch 13yo braces after eating corn on the cob for dinner.

I have a few music apps on my phone, and they all used to work great....I think though that with new updates to the apps, they changed the options so that you can't be on wifi to make them work. Ie. tunein radio and songza will now only work if I'm off wifi, and using my data. I've tried everything to force it to use wifi, and can't get them to work. So OP, try using your apps on your data and see if they work that way

"iTunes iDiot" - love it! Me too! I keep saying one of these days I'll figure it out, but it's easier just to listen to Pandora or the radio. Maybe it's time for a trip to the Genius Bar... they ought to be able to help us iDiots.

On the main iTunes Store page, look on the right side. There's a section called Quick Links, then below that are other links. "My Wish List" is the 4th one down. HTH!

I think there's confusion sometimes because iTunes and the iTunes Store are separate apps in your phone. Make sure you're in iTunes Store, click on the menu button at the top right of the screen and choose Wish List.
I have no idea why your Pandora etc. wouldn't work on your wi-fi unless your speed is too slow to allow for streaming. If you've been doing a lot of streaming some providers will "throttle" you and slow your speed drastically.
Personally, I find Windows Media Player confusing to the point of being unusable, so I feel your pain!

we all use Pandora and other streaming apps on all of our iDevices. Try deleting then reinstalling. in iTunes if you are logged into your account, you should be able to d/l all the music you have purchased from the cloud. Or even better, plug your iphone into your computer, sync it and upload your tunes and playlists to iTunes that way.

I've always thought iTunes to be the most user-UNfriendly thing ever! And it's surprising because Macs and other "I" things are so intuitive. Just feeling ur pain ... Sorry I'm no help

ITunes iDiot. Clever . Do you have an Apple Store nearby? Might be worth going in and asking them to talk you through it.

I feel even dumber at the apple genius bar, although I'll never have to see those people again. Let them laugh at me and talk about me when I'm gone. And to further punish the boys, I'll go without them. It's one of their favorite hangouts. Nerds.

I use mine on wifi all the time with no issues and am fully updated. That is just weird. I don't get it either! Here are some screen caps trying to use it...with wifi on and off... As promised, I'm back. The TuneIn website says that a surprising number of errors can be corrected by restarting the app and your phone. I would shut down all your apps, turn off the phone completely for a few minutes, then restart it and try again. They also say that you may not have enough bandwidth as previously mentioned. If none of that works, you can contact them directly.

I think I've shut it down completely, but not sure...I'll try now

I'm useless... I have an old iPod that was synced to itunes in my computer, bought an iPhone and bought a song directly on my iPhone... Now when I go to sync my phone and computer (same itunes acct), it asks me if I want to replace or something else, my library... I can't figure it out - seems like one way I loose all my music from my iPod/computer and the other way I loose stuff I bought directly from my phone... At that point I disconnect my phone and contemplate going and sitting in the car so I can listen to a cd I want to hear...
Learning my new Mac was easy enough - I was worried because of how 'hard' iTunes is... Wish they updated/clarified stuff on there...

I had a couple of apps that were having problems as well. I deleted them off of my phone and then reinstalled. Worked like a charm. Hope that helps.

Learning my new Mac was easy enough - I was worried because of how 'hard' iTunes is... Wish they updated/clarified stuff on there... I have this too. Every time I try to sync, it tells me that I will lose my library (or whatever.) I have a bunch of music on my phone that came from CDs that I never could get the new computer to download. So if I replace, I don't really replace, I lose all my Jimmy Buffett (LOL.) That doesn't seem to be very replacement like to me. I don't know what to do. I don't want to lose my music, and when I asked my kids for help, they look at me like I am crazy. Apparently, all the young bucks in my house listen to Pandora or one of the other ones (which I have forgotten the names of) and itunes is for us old people who don't do technology. So what does an old, techno-dolt to do?? Lose my music, which I might ad has been a carefully crafted thing of beauty that has taken several years to make just right...or never sync? And, if I wanted to burn a cd, it can't be done because I CAN'T GET THE STUPID MUSIC ON THE COMPUTER. I hate itunes. Or it hates me. Both probably.
