I would like to purchase a few more lightweight terracotta planters that are made of Styrofoam type material. The last ones I bought about ten years ago, and I can't find any now. I've looked at Home Depot and Lowe's. I've googled, and either I don't have the right keywords or they don't make them anymore.
Has anyone seen them online or in stores this year?

Yes, I've seen them at Home Depot and bought an urn style planter earlier this season.
Try googling faux stone planter, or resin faux stone, cast stone, faux terra cotta, all those will give you various results. I didn't spend a ton of time looking but Home Depot also has various styles of lightweight faux stone planters online.

terracotta is a material. It is Italian and literally means "cooked earth" It is a kiln hardened clay.
You'll get better results googling for faux stone planters or plastic planters.

I've noticed a shortage of terra cotta colored ones too. Martha Stewart has an old video where she paints and textures the reddish plastic/foam ones to look like aged white clay. You could try this in reverse color way, if you have time and energy www.marthastewart.com/994600/faux-terracotta-plastic-potsHome Depot shows a large one online, but it's not stocked locally. Wayfair has one, but it's only about a gallon size. Good luck!

Home Goods (or whatever the new name might be)--that used to be Garden Ridge has them, as I got one about 2 weeks ago.
