Yep, and if you put all your thoughts, opinions and actions on here for us all to read...guess what?
I'm going to have an opinion about it and I am going to express that opinion when and if I feel like it.
I will also feel free to speculate about what else may or may not be happening in your life.
And here's another shocker (brace yourself)- not all of it will be positive.

Those of you who feel motivated to handslap and post "if you can't say anything nice...." or "if you don't like it just move on..." feel free to take your own advice, because it won't change a thing for me.

This isn't the little bubble of like minded people you surround yourself with in your real life who will never tell you your ideas are crazy, or that you are acting like an immature teenager or that you are in fact - wrong - about something.
This is a message board and there are women from all over the world here and you'll get some positive and some negative responses.

Not prepared for that? Then stop posting every thought the second it enters your head.

I struggle with this too at times. My tone has not always been conveyed as I intended and sometimes I worry I've interpreted someone else's tone incorrectly. My feelings have been hurt (slightly) and it's entirely possible the poster didn't intend to be so harsh. I hate the thought of inadvertently hurting someone's feelings.

That being said, i fully agree everyone needs to be responsible for what they put out there. Gotta take the good with the bad if you decide to post. Sometimes easier said than done but it needs to be done.

I think that sometimes it's like a rock rolling down a hill. People reveal one small thing and then another, figuring that the small things don't really matter. But like the rock, the longer it goes down the hill, the faster it goes; the more small things they revel add up to a full picture. I also think it's interesting, how compfortable people feel behind the computer monitor, the more that we go towards doing everything at home and reduce the lack of person to person contact on a daily basis.

I must have missed something...off to see if I can figure it out!

And lets add this one, because I see it SO MUCH - Yes, according to the 1st amendment you have a right to free speech (interpretation of that is a whole other post), HOWEVER, everyone ELSE has the right to tell you that you are full of shit, as well. So remember, Freedom of Speech does NOT equal Freedom from dealing with the consequences of what you said.
