Not everyone does this, but you keep Lumping EVERYONE into a single group. You are not able to differentiate. I'm just wondering if you possibly responded to the wrong post? Nothing in my statement said one way or the other whether it referred to a group or a single person, so there was no lumping of anyone together. Oh for Christ sakes. You know exactly what it meant. You used plural. If you are confused, then it explains a lot.

Although, given your history, that won't stop you from continuing to come up with twisted nonsensical reasons for you to insist you're right despite the evidence before you. Carry on.

I changed the thread title. Thank you. Although I've got to admit that I'm pleasantly surprised how people decided to have fun with the old one.

I didn't get offended or have my feelings hurt by the Hillary shills reference, but I did roll my eyes and scroll right on by. It seemed apparent your intent was to be insulting, and I get enough of that already in the threads I do participate in.
When the thread got to four pages, I thought I'd better check it out. shrug, whatever. I like Hillary and I'm glad to finally be able to vote for her for president. But even if I didn't particularly like her, I'd still be campaigning for her, sending money, etc. Because there is nothing on God's green earth that would get me to vote for Donald Trump or even to sit by idly while he gets himself elected. And every day that goes by just reinforces that feeling. So you are wasting your breath, on me, at least.
It's going to be a looooong three months.

You know what happened at a Trump rally today? Protestors stood silently, holding up pocket Consitutions. They are removed, because, ya know, it's a Trump rally and he doesn't put up with any dissension, even silent dissension. Okay. Then his followers start chanting "USA! USA! USA!" at the protestors as they're led out. ![](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/pd7N3dneptLj3pbgz5Gd.jpg) um? You show your disapproval of people waving the U.S. Constitution by chanting USA? That's telling 'em. I'm sorry. You may think we're paid shills, but I think real Trump fans (and by that I mean people who actively love him, not those voting for him because they feel obligated by party loyalty or Hillary hate) are morons. ETA on reconsideration ... I'm sure there's someone or another here who I'm crazy about, but who also loves Donald Trump. You might not even be admitting it in public. So I'm just going to apologize right now for that moron remark. You are not a moron. It wasn't my intention to hurt your feelings and I guess I'm overreacting, anyway. BUT I'll warn you here and now, if you're at a Trump rally chanting "USA! USA!" at protestors with pocket Constitutions, I'm going to have to reconsider. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/Q_m8lDOvc_3Le3r1GKdf.jpg)

Adding my voice to those saying that the title of this thread is just downright rude; there is no need to do that. Judging from the silence on previous insults, it looks as if it's okay to call Trump supporters names and insult them, just as long as you don't put it in the title. Actually, I have only been silent myself because I don't open or read most of the political threads. I don't condone name-calling by anyone, and in fact I personally will call out FB posts that I think are rude or insulting no matter what side of the political aisle the names are thrown from. I actually started a FB group last presidential cycle entitled "Calling for Civility in Political Discourse." I'd include a link, but apparently I deleted the group after the election. One of my biggest problems with Trump, btw, is how many people he insults and in so many different ways. He is incredibly rude.

So you are wasting your breath, on me, at least. I know you are a Hillary fan and all, but it seems like the conversation around here lately has been focused so much on the [lack of] trust and lying issues that I also wanted to point out that there is a lot more depth than just that behind many of us opposed to Hillary. Thanks for indulging me by reading. Sorry for the initial insult.

And, we are able to start a new thread daily, sometimes more than one, because Trump gives us so many opportunities. I was reminded of this thread at the children's theatre camp I'm working at. Lately (ESPECIALLY this week), the kids in improv class frequently use Donald Trump as a character: "Okay, I'll be a taxi driver and you be...Donald Trump!" Or the dialogue they improvise will include some allusion to him or some goofy thing he might say. These kids are not "desperate to sell Hillary Clinton." Her name rarely comes up. These are just normal, plugged-in 8-15 year olds. (From two towns - one liberal and one conservative.) The reason they routinely invoke Trump is exactly as stated in the quote above: Trump gives us so many opportunities.

Apparently Hillary doesn't tolerate dissension either. She's just sneakier about it.There was a group of people acting like asses, booing and chanting while everyone else was trying to listen to the speakers. I watched it, and they were bloody annoying. They have every right to protest, but they don't have the right to block others from listening to the speakers.

And let me guess, she didn't say that if someone wanted to punch the protestors in the face that she would pay the legal fees. Since when did acting with decorum become being "sneaky?" And acting like a jack-ass become being "honest?" It frightens me that people are starting to use Trump as the measuring stick for appropriate and even desireable public behavior.

Oh yeah, there were a lot of reports from Bernie supporters about how their seats were being taken over by Hillary shills. I believe use of that term is accurate in this case. The press mainly reported unity at the DNC, but by about the third day, they had just replaced most of the dissenters in the convention hall. Plus on Hillary's speech you can hear shouts of "Hill-ar-y!" in the background. Those were the people instructed to shout down dissenters as well. I know the WikiLeaks documents DNC intern involvement with protests - mentioned at least a couple of times. They weren't happy about how few anti-Trump people showed up at one event and said either get some interns in or don't photograph the protest. And by the way, there was some additional fallout to the WikiLeaks saga: 3 top people are out. I suspect it's just game playing - shuffling people around, but here is the AP story: bigstory.ap.org/article/f7ebd00c63fa43169ec9b7609fe851f3/ap-sources-ceo-democratic-national-committee-resigns

Apparently you didn't watch it, because no one was booing or blocking others from listening. The convention hadn't even started yet. All it showed was that Hillary paid people to take up seats so there was no room for elected delegates.

It isn't limited to Trump.

Did not even click your link. I was specifically referring not to Trump in my post, but to his supporters. Yet you still managed to turn it into another instance of "see? Hillary does it, too!" Not interested, sorry. ETA sorry, I just noticed that you cherry-picked one line out of my entire post, that happened to refer to Trump himself. Still not interested. You have worn me out. See above.

There were several times that the audience was so vocal that the speakers had to stop while waiting for them to settle down. It was the worst during first two days or so of the DNC.

FWIW, I fully support the steps that were taken to downplay the negative chants.

Seriously, do you have to respond to every.single.thing. we post with "Hillary is just as bad"? I usually just stay out of any pro-Trump threads (well, there aren't very many, are there? let's say anti-Hillary threads, instead) because I don't feel like I need to start an argument with everyone who disagrees with me.
