I know this is a long shot but will give it a try. I am trying to find a new home for my mother in laws baby grand piano. It is free. All the person has to do is to pick it up and haul it to where they want it. It's in Baltimore. Pea mail me if you know someone who would love a free baby grand piano. Thanks.

Don't live near there or know anyone who does, but it's so wonderful of you to offer such a fine instrument to the Peas.

My DD is in DC, her DH (my, that's a lot of letters!) plays... I know he would love it, not sure how they would get it tho.

The person picking it up would really need to hire a piano mover ... that's not the kind of thing you load up in somebody's pickup or even a U-Haul.
Have you called local schools? I bet there's a choir program in the area that needs a better piano ...

Damn... I wish I were closer. A baby grand is my dream! Same here. Houston is just a little too far from Baltimore though. Good luck in finding a new home for the piano. Someone is sure to be happy to have it. Save

Well the good news is that my emailing all of my contacts has worked. Turns out a family member wants it. That's nice that it will stay in the family. If that doesn't work, I have 3 other people that I found on Freecycle who are also interested. I know that sometimes these pianos are very difficult to get rid of because you do need a professional to move it. It's not cheap. My mother in law would be very very happy to know that her grand nephew is interested

If other stuff falls through my bff and her dh would probably love it. She's in the presidents own marine core band and he's in the army field band.
