I've noticed that several of the new lines are shipping and starting to arrive at customers' doors and LSS's. Just wondering now that you're seeing the product in person ... did it meet or exceed expectations? Did it disappoint?
I got 2 shipments today (I don't have a LSS), here's my feedback.
Shimelle's Go Now Go - EXCEEDED expectations! This is gorgeous in person. I will go ahead and order more of it. Colors are nice and clear and bright, and product looks the same in person as online.
Paige Evans Take Me Away - MET expectations. The roller stamp is cute, but smaller than I had hoped. It's all very pretty, though, and I have already ordered some of the 12x12 papers because I didn't get those in my initial shipping. Colors are a little more grayed in person, I think.
Crate Paper Cool Kid - MET expectations. It's very happy and cheery, and I do love the Puffy Stickers. The Accent Stickers are not great, in my opinion, and the papers a bit more muted than I thought they be. The black is really a nice, deep black.
MME Comfort & Joy - embellishments are a bit disappointing. The colors are quite brown. The red is a brownish-red and the green is muddy. The paper, however, is overall lovely and I really love the chipboard elements. The journaling cards are very thin and of poor quality, in my opinion, I would not have ordered those if I had seen them in person.
What are your thoughts on the new products now that you see them in person?

I had been thinking of ordering it, but won't now. I like crisp colors. I have such a hard time ordering things online that I haven't already seen in person because I'm always worried about being disappointed.

Shimelle go now go line is spectacular. I also ordered more. The colors are very rich. There is just so many possibilities with this line. Looks better in person. Pink paislee I really liked bits and pieces. Happy with it . Amy tan only bought 3 papers. Lovely, I happened to buy Keiser Kraft stickers in Tuesday morning the colors match her line perfectly. There is even an almost identical small flower .

I bought most of Dear Lizzy's Saturday line. I'm usually not a huge fan of her stuff, but this one is awesome. The colors are deeper & richer, yet still feminine.

I like this thread!
Ok, so I only ordered specific sheets from each line so I can't really speak on whole collections:
Cool Kid: Brighter than I expected, but I really like it. Very rich & bright. Cute Girl: Exceeded expectations. I love the patterns I selected. Bright and quirky designs. Warm & Cozy (Jen Hadfield) I only got 2 sheets and both met expectations. The woodgrain one is very vibrant. Saturday: (Dear Lizzy) Most of the line seemed like every other DL line, so I only got two sheets. I love both of them. Take Me Away (Paige Evans) Met expectations of more muted colors than her last line. I only bought a select few because I did not want more DL look-alike paper. I like all the ones I got. Some I got for the B sides.
However, the non-alpha Thickers are gorgeous! Exceeded expectations! Much prettier in person. Beware there is foil on some of them, if you don't like that. I also got the roller stamp, and I agree it is small, but I was expecting that. Might be good for a planner, or PL, or tags.

I just got a box from ACOT. (They held my box until my pre-order stuff was in so some items are not brand new). Here are my thoughts:
Authentique Fabulous - I wasn't sure about this one so I only ordered a few papers. I like it more than I expected to. Some of the papers have a subtle background that I didn't notice online, and really like.
Echo Park Stateside - These papers feel a little flat to me. Colors are nice though and I like the idea of this line.
My Mind's Eye Yes Please - The metallic on papers looks like a true metallic versus just using a gold color. The mirrored acrylic sheet is super cute.
Authentique Retro Christmas - I like it but I am picky about reds and wish the reds in this line were a touch brighter.
Fancy Pants Millie and June - Love! Colors are so happy, papers have a nice texture and embellish are beyond cute, particularly the Flair, ephemera pack and puffy design stickers. For comparison purposes the gold on the embellishments and backside of Our Garden and Much Love papers in this line is much brighter than in the My Mind's Eye Yes Please collection, while gold on text of papers is the color gold versus a true metallic.
My Mind's Eye Sugar Plum - When will I learn to stop ordering glitters papers from them! As usual glitter is getting everywhere. That said the colors and designs are really pretty. Still, I wish I hadn't ordered these. I hate the mess.
My Mind's Eye Hooray - I love the colors in this line but the papers feel kind of flat. The best thing I got from this line are the puffy stickers. They are adorable and would be a cute way to close a birthday card envelope.
My Mind's Eye Comfort and Joy - The biggest disappointment. The red is not a happy red at all and I really dislike it. The papers also feel very flat. Very glad I didn't order more from this line.

I find that Crate Paper is often more muted in reality than it appears on my screen. I have to always tell myself to adjust my expectations in that regard. but I am glad that overall you were still were happy with the products.

Shimelle s line--love it! I want to order more paper for the softer b sides. Love the the embellishments too!
MME Comfort and Joy- like others have said, this was very disappointing. I like the patterns but the embellishments are really lacking. I had hoped to use it for an advent book and I may still do that but add in some green and gold from my stash.

I saw the Authentique Retro Christmas line at LSS today. I really liked it. Almost bought it, but I couldn't get past the lack of diversity in the people on the pages. I could have cherry-picked the papers; but it didn't feel right to me.
I speak with my dollars and I choose not to support companies that don't represent diversity.

I have had my eye on a few things from FP Millie and June and Authenique Fabulous. I will go ahead and order! Glad to get your feedback on MME Sugar Plum. I have that in my cart, but will not press the button. They are 0 for 2 on Christmas lines this year, I think. Has anyone received a new Christmas line that they LOVE yet? I'm still waiting on Carta Bella's Christmas Delivery and Snow Fun (preordered).

I have the whole entire line of WRMK Urban Chic and I bashed out a LO the same day it arrived! (It's for a DT blog post on September 1st so I'm way ahead of the curve with this). I like it, the colours are nice and bright and the photographic, ombre papers are lush.
I also got a bit of Cute Girl and I love that a lot. The striped paper is gorgeous. I found the papers nice and bright and cheerful, clean colours. I am a bright paper fan, the brighter the better (I'm dying to get my hands on the Illustrated Faith papers, their brightness is perfect!).

Go Now Go - Love, love, love! I bought all the papers - 2 of some - as well as some embellishments. Gorgeous colors, and can be used for so many pages, not just travel.
I also bought a lot of Amy Tan's Oh Happy Life, and like it more than I expected to. I may go back and order more of this one.
Pink Paislee Paige Evans - again, bought some of the papers and they are really pretty. I'm just not sure what I'll do with them.

This is the first time in many years that I haven't like the new releases, so I haven't bought any of them. I am waiting to see what Pink Fresh Studio is coming out for Christmas as I loved their collection last year.
