The last Christian has now fled Mosul, Iraq IS (or ISIS as it was formerly known) has completed the ethnic cleansing of Christians in Mosul, Syria. Link
Just a few decades ago there were TWO MILLION Christians living in Syria. It is estimated there were 10,000 Christians living in Mosul just ONE MONTH AGO. Today there are...NONE!!! Belgium is at risk of falling to Sharia Law and Muslim Rule, with other countries in Europe also at risk. There is a Sharia Court already set up and functioning in Antwerp. There is real concern in Europe but no one knows what can be done anymore. Political correctness is going to lead to some serious worries.

Disgusting. You know, Christianity is actually older than Islam? By more than half a century. They were completely rooted in that area and fucking ISIS comes along and dictates "either move or we will kill you". Does this seem right to anyone? There is no live and let live there.

Sharia law has no place in Europe or any other nation where there is a Constitution to address the laws.
Praying for Islam to return to it's peaceful tenants of faith. And praying for the places where this real war on Christianity is being waged.

For those that say sharia law has no place do you feel the same about other religious courts such as a Beth Din in the Jewish community. Note I am NOT comparing the two except for they are both religious courts.
I think ethnic cleansing is horrific no matter where it is. And honestly I worry about our own country. Certain groups here are not happy unless the laws are following their religion only. That is not what we were founded on.

Thing is @katycupcake, they move into countries, become citizens, gain a majority, vote in their leaders, change the law and bam! what use was any original constitution? And if the rest of the world isn't seeing the threat, it is alive and well in Belgium.
We just came back from a trip to Belgium. Brussels which used to be a beautiful city has become a squalid, crime ridden town. Antwerp has a Sharia court. Anti-Semitism is rife, out in the open and very little is done about it. Get rid of the Jews, then the Christians. At what point do we say enough and how do we combat it?

The Beth Din is only there for those who want to use it. It is not forced on anyone, neither Jew nor non-Jew and more importantly, NOWHERE does Beth Din law supercede the law of the land.

Only around 6% of Belgium's population is Muslim, so it is unlikely to be in imminent danger.

It would appear that Europe is in for some troubled times. France, which has the 3rd largest Jewish population in the world (after the US and Israel) has seen a 40% rise in anti-Semitic incidents in the last year...that's everything from murder to hate speech. I recently got an email blast from the JA (Jewish Association) saying that 70% of the Jews in France had made inquiry about moving to Israel....that's 70% of 500,000 people!! I would hazard a guess that they're counting family members as individuals e.g if a man called and said he had a wife and 4 kids and was interested in moving to Israel, the JA tagged that as 6 people inquiring...either way, it's a huge number. Of course most of those inquiries will probably never go further than an initial phone call, but 5,000 French Jews have had their Aliyah applications approved, and 400 of them arrived in Israel a week ago.
Jews and Christians need to wake up and smell the coffee.

If you want a divorce, in Israel, there is no going to civil court, you will go before the Beit Din, and in this country, they can be batshit crazy!!

I believe those courts should hold sway only within their own community and if those involved agree to abide by the rules of those courts in place of governmental courts, but I also think governmental courts should be the final authority and safety fall back for those who are coerced into those kinds of courts against their will. Obviously, this isn't what Islam is doing, they are enforcing their jurisdiction over EVERYONE and sadly, it has succeeded in Mosul which will only embolden them to push their agenda in other countries.

I would like to politely suggest that it is a portion of the Islamic community that is trying to control the morals and values of the whole-not all Muslims want to follow Sharia law either. (and because I am on a "isn't that ironic" kick today, I guess I should point out the irony of a small portion of the whole trying to rule the roost isn't all that different from what is currently happening within our own country.)

No arguing that, lol. I will say though, ISIS is carrying it violently far by threatening death if compliance is denied. That is not happening in our own country.

Not all Muslims are trying to replace western laws with Sharia law. But honestly, anyone who thinks there's a war on women in this country needs to be very concerned about Sharia law being practiced in any community.
