I have an Etsy store and have listed and would like to list more die cut words (cut from cardstock). It seems like they are very popular, and I have heard that people would like other words besides love, laugh, live, etc. So I have designed words like snort, sneaky, explore, and crazy.
My question is how should I package them/sell them?
Right now I have some words cut out in black, white, and grey. I just cut out "sneaky" in black, white, and kraft. Okay colors, or should I do something different?
Selling one word at a time (even in 3 different colors), would be costly to list on the site. So would selling them in sets of words be better? if so, mix the fun words with the serious ones or have a whole set of just funny/snarky words?
Thoughts?
Thanks for the opinions.

Hmmm, I have a Silhouette so I wouldn't necessarily be a customer for die cuts but if I were in the market... I think I would look for sets of words that are the same "theme". I think keeping the funny/snarky words together (actually maybe two sets: funny or snarky!) and then maybe offering a serious themed package too? Just thinking out loud here but if I was looking for funny and/or snarky die cuts, and I ended up with one that said something like "beautiful" in the mix, it would feel out of place. I think it would feel odd to have a set like "sneaky, silly, ROFL, snort, crazy, beautiful". One word is not like the others, kwim? As for colors, I think keeping them in neutrals like black, white, kraft is a good idea. Those are pretty universal colors.

I think sets of related words in neutral card stock would be appealing, so keep the snarky words and pleasant words in different listings. I bet there's a market for the more snarky words since they're lacking in most paper lines.

I agree about the market for snarky words... that's one of the millions of reasons that I love my Silhouette. My life just isn't "best day ever" or my relationship with my husband isn't always "love of my life". Sometimes I need "today sucked" or "you irritated the hell out of me today"... (okay I've never actually used those phrases on a layout but I might someday! )

Can you post all of them in one picture and let people pick how many they want? I know they do that on ebay with punches, but I have no idea how it works.

You could also let people tell you what words they want and custom make them in the colors they want!

Thank you for the suggestions/opinions, keep them coming. Custom orders are very much welcome and the site has a button set up for that msliz what size individual letters are you thinking? that brings up another question, I am cutting these words out of cardstock, should I layer 2 together to make them a little thicker/sturdier? Thanks.

I agree with keeping more themed ones together.
neutral colors are good and you might also think of watercolor paper, gold foil cardstock, even glitter cardstock for a higher price.
I don't have a silhouette so I would totally buy this kind of item!
I know I have bought flair bundles on Etsy where you pick 6 (or whatever) and make up your own selection; I'd love that option for words too.
